We have been members for years and have never been invited to a renewal event. Sounds great. Do other branches do this?

I love Costco!!! I was a member when I lived in Canada and I joined the one in Sheffield when it opened in 2006 (its set out just like the Canadian one!!) .Last month I got an invite for a renewal event and went today. There was a buffet full of lovely Costco food (sandwiches, sausage rolls, salads, dips, tortilla chips, lots of different cakes etc) When I renewed I got a free bottle of Kulama wine and a box of Lindt chocolates!! Beats the free shopping bag I got last year!! :):)
All the staff are friendly and I love going there!

I second what others have said about the Pancake mix, its really good. I also like the Cinnamon crumble cake mix by Krusteaz, VERY GOOD!
I love the Trident Salmon burgers that you can find in the freezer section (currently £7.99 for 12 ) and even my very picky 3 year old likes them! (thanks to Costco and their samples!!)

We were there in Sheffield too, could have said hello if i had known
    what you looked like :)

Shame I only discovered this forum last night! We were there at 5:30ish with our 3 year old daughter. You weren't by any chance the lady who was very keen to get into the cherry pie? ;)
I love a bargain and saving money! I don't have any debts and mortgage repaid in 2020

Lol, we got there at 5.45 though, I didn't even see the cherry pie,
when the pizzas were brought in, it was like vultures desended on
them!- we had our daughter with us too :)

Cinnamon crumble cake mix - OMG I've never seen this in Glasgow. I'd buy in bulk if they had it - every time we are in the US or Canada I find another cinnamon cake recipe as I love the stuff and the smell in my kitchen when I'm baking it. I feel a call to Glasgow coming on!
I certainly didn't see any last Friday when I was there - I did buy Ghirardelli brownie mix though yum, yum (oh and the small matter of a Dyson DC25 which was £238 inc vat against £280 in Tesco - quite a bargain!)

LOL, I saw the pizza coming but I wasn't quick enough!

I hope you guys find the cake mix in the Scottish branches, it really is delicious!

One of my other favorites is the Skippy Peanut Butter. YUMMY!!
