Costco's sausages are yummy. We love the 18 pack spicy Italian style sausages for £4.85 - the cumberlands are also very good at £4.15.

they are Riversomething brand - which is also available in Tesco in packs of 12 for £4.00 (and sometimes on offer at £3.00 for 12, which makes them cheaper that Costco)
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.

They are the same brand, but the meat content is different - the Costco ones have something like 98% meat whilst the Tesco ones have less than 70% meat (or something like that). HTH.

I'm probably sounding really daft here, but how do you get a diesel to run on vegetable oil?:o

Some older type (indirect injection) diesel engines can run quite happily on veg oil, some needing modification, others don't, mine doesn't. The cheapest solution is to find a cheap (preferably free!) supply of used cooking oil which then needs to be filtered very thoroughly before use (involves buying filtration kit), or in the absence of this cheap 'virgin' veg oil does the job.

Economy is the same as diesel, but obviously no VAT or fuel duty is applicable, and you can use up to 2500 litres per year as fuel before any tax is payable!

A quick Google of 'vegetable oil diesel' brings up all you need to know! It's not as strange as you might think, the very first diesel engine was designed to be run on nut oil!

Its 9.99 before VAT so works out at £4.99 before VAT once youve used the coupon.

Thanks for that, at least I now know it works out cheaper in Tesco as it is on 3 for 2, only £4.56 there if you buy 3.

Is that for the big bottles tho? Costco ones are the biggest ones, normally £6 quid odds each in supermarkets.

Just realised it is 2 of the 1.47 litre ones. I thought it was only for 1, so that is really cheap. Thanks for making me think again, much appreciated.

I love Costco!!! I was a member when I lived in Canada and I joined the one in Sheffield when it opened in 2006 (its set out just like the Canadian one!!) .Last month I got an invite for a renewal event and went today. There was a buffet full of lovely Costco food (sandwiches, sausage rolls, salads, dips, tortilla chips, lots of different cakes etc) When I renewed I got a free bottle of Kulama wine and a box of Lindt chocolates!! Beats the free shopping bag I got last year!! :):)
All the staff are friendly and I love going there!

I second what others have said about the Pancake mix, its really good. I also like the Cinnamon crumble cake mix by Krusteaz, VERY GOOD!
I love the Trident Salmon burgers that you can find in the freezer section (currently £7.99 for 12 ) and even my very picky 3 year old likes them! (thanks to Costco and their samples!!)
I love a bargain and saving money! I don't have any debts and mortgage repaid in 2020
