    I do hope they'll send me the new newsletter. I don't seem to get every issue that they print.

    I do love their rotisserie chicken.

    Thanks c_denise, I hate going every month unless I'm going to do alot of bulking up, so I get someone who lives nearby to pick up the odd bits like the wipes (got 6 packs). Then collect when I'm down that way - its only 20min drive but for little things that is too much. Won't be going again this month either.

    They don't have the chicken you love but they do have £1 off 440g of chicken satay if thats any good? I hated not having the booklet through the door as my internet connection can be a little rubbish at times so could not log into addictedtocostco, just checked for you - the new one is not up yet.

    Our local 99p store has the following so do check out your pound shops :
    * 1 x Airwick freshmatic refills - (sorry can't remember size)
    * 1kg Vanish oxy
    * 1 x Flash spray clean & bleach
    * 1 x Corsodyl mint / original mouthwash (small bottle - maybe (100ml?)
    * 1 x sensodyne total care 75ml
    * 1 x Bio oil (again small box - sorry can't remember size)

    HTH

    Would love that washing machine - BUT well out of my budget even with £100 off - oh well maybe next time?

    It's very easy to get carried away at Costco if you aren't careful. We go every 3 months or so and do a big bulk shop. We always spend a few hundred pounds, but we fill the freezers, cupboards and garage. Sometimes things are very good value, especially if they are on offer at the time. I second the recommendation for meat (and fish) if that is something you would buy. It is of excellent quality, as has already been said.
    At Christmas they do have a lot of good things for kids, plus the most fabulous reversible wrapping paper on a humungous roll. I bought one 3 Christmasses ago and I'm not even half way through it yet!
    Also worth a look if you are needing a new vac, fridge, washer, electric toothbrush, sewing machine etc. because they do occasionally have a good deal on something. Their own brand is called Kirkland, and is generally very good quality stuff.
    Really, as with most places, I think you have to be prepared to do your research before committing to buy.

    Take your id to the membership counter, they will take your photo and issue your card straight away, and you can go in and spend all your money!
    They take cash or debit cards - no credit cards. Not sure if they still take cheques, but suspect not. The branch we use (Oldham) has a cash machine by the checkouts if you need some cash.
    At the tills your trolley has to go behind the cashier to the packing area, they get annoyed if you try to push it down the customer side of the belt.
    Keep your receipt in your hand as you leave, there will be someone at the door who will check you haven't nicked anything and will initial your receipt.
    Happy shopping :)

    Croydon at least still accepts cheques, I used one today :)

    I will definitely be more positive the next time I go, thanks to all the advice on here. I have to say, I bought halal chicken nuggets and, even though they seemed expensive, they will last for quite a few meals, and are literally made of chicken breast fillet. No nasties at all, and absolutely gorgeous. I think, what I will do, is run down the freezer over the next couple of months, then go and stock up. Make it worth my while.

    The halal chicken strips are lovely as well :) Oh, and they do halal beef hot dogs too!

    I've only got mine in the post today, so it will be a few days before someone uploads it.
