    Can anyone tell me if costco stick to their individual membership opening hours or do you think they will let me in before 12 this morning?

    You might get in 10 or so mins earlier, but I'd be very surprised if you got in an hour earlier - it's all to do with the terms and conditions of their operation allowed by the council etc.

    You could always politely ask someone in the car park that's just about to go in, THAT IS ALLOWED to do so before noon, IF you could enter "as their guest"
    You can show them your card to prove you are a member.
    You could always say that it's an "emergency"
    Basically you only need to get through the door don't you :)

    I have gone in through the Returns entrance and then sneaked through one of the aisles. No problems. But I haven't actually paid for anything before 12.00 in case they reject my card.

    EEEK. I got talked into upgrading my membership last time we went in and as we were going to buy a laptop from Costco we thought we'd get out money back on the 2% cashback facility.
    We're now going to get the laptop online. Will there be a problem cancelling the gold membership at renewal (its due in July) We've done this once before 2 years ago when we got out telly and we made some profit, then we went back to standard membership. It wasn't really an issue then...hoping its not going to be this time around.

    I don't think I can fork out £65 to renew in July! £30 is bad enough!

    ....plus new photo is shocking!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    I love a bargain and saving money! I don't have any debts and mortgage repaid in 2020

    What sort of documentation do Costco need for a self employed person?

    I run an online business as a self employed person. I receive relatively few invoices as I do most of my own work. All the invoices I receive are all emailed (which suits me) but include my trading name as well as my name.

    Would a good quality print of one of these invoices be enough? They are all for amounts of less than £10.

    We were told that if we wanted to change from our Gold membership at any time before our renewal date we could and we would get a full reimbursement of the cost of it. They said just ask how much we had earned and if we hadn't covered the cost we could cancel. So if you don't think you will spend enough it would be worth cancelling now. If you aren't sure go and ask in June and cancel then.
