Blue Sky Claims/Car Craft

Hi all...Im looking for some advise really, or to see if anyone else has received the same phone call?
Sometime last week, I received a phone call from a company called Blue Sky Claims. The caller said they are contacting people who had bought their cars from Car Craft in the last few years. She explained that due to a recent change in the law I may be entitled to get some money back from Car Craft as they have probably overcharged me by hiding Payment Protection and other charges in the cost of my car. I explained that I paid it off in cash and didnt think they had hidden any cost, but she insisted that maybe they had. Then she moved on to ask what credit cards I have and they may also be able to claim money on those. I asked what was the catch and she said I had to pay £200 upfront, but that this would be returned if there was no claim to be made. I have check out their website, all seems leggit but I am still a bit cautious about how this works and wonder if anyone has any further information.
The woman said she will ring me back next week as I wasnt about to give my details to someone who had called me without looking into it further.
Any info anyone has will be much appreciated!
Many Thanks
Mike

hi, i have had these calls as well. If you look on this site there is lots of info about reclaiming Payment Protection insurance which is what this company is promising to do. You can do it yourself with the letters on this site. Dont pay £200 for someone else to do it. Its the latest claim industry i think.Grocery Challenge Feb 16 £346 /4000

Hi, i had the same call last week. I checked this company out on the Claims standard council and they are legitt. I decided to go ahead, and have since received letters explaining what i am owed back and what they can do for me. It appears my payment protection was mis sold to me by 6 times the amount it should of been and i am owed back £4500. i was orginally thinking of doing it myself too, but saw on gmtv they said its actually harder and can take years to get the money back., i would rather pay £200 and let them do the work to be honest. But as far as i can see they are all over board, i received all my paperwork within days of going ahead.

Donald they are not legitimate if they do not have a Claims Management Regulation number. Blue Sky Claims have not got a CMR number so I am afraid I think you have been mislead by the advice you were given. Please see link to check CMR numbers/reclaim firms.

but being a natwest staff member , im assuming you would not like this as most people are reclaiming money off banks such as yourself for the mis selling of payment protection. but thanks for your concern.0

To clarify that CRM number is not real.(can you private message me their site so I can take a look?)

I have done a search under Claims regulation management. The link was on my post(number 4 on this thread) so you are gonna have to do better than that and provide one that works.
What is their address cos I can search under the address as well.0 -
they are under blue sky international ltd. they are also on the claims standard council website under the *members*, which gives a link to their website. why are u so hellbound on proving they are not legitimate when really they are ?0
