Lightspeed Surveys (merged)

You have GOT to be kidding me! Just spent 40/45 minutes on a survey and got that "We're sorry, but there were technical difficulties authenticating your entry code or link" message again! Grrr! What an absolute waste of time. :mad:0

well impressed!! ordered amazon voucher thing Monday at around 6.30pm and it was with me within an hour!! Although, I am wondering if this is the death knell of mysurvey - gave up with Lightspeed and *Lauren* a long time back (they were becoming more that crap!) and now they've merged...ah well, I'll keep an open mind for the moment...;)All these years since I left school and I've never once had to use Algebra0

Paypal payments since the merger are useless. Ordered one on 23rd November and twice since and not yet had a payment. Surveys keep rolling in though, had 5 last night but it seems a waste of time doing them.0

I'm actually very happy since the merger, I am getting loads more surveys now, even though I've been a member of both for some time. The one thing I have noticed is that they don't always email me about surveys now, I have to check the website, however points are being credited immediately as usual and the Amazon vouchers are very fast. The Paypal is taking longer but c'est la vie so far as that goes. The surveys seem a little better paid than they were with Lightspeed or MySurvey alone as well, I did a survey on all the items I had batteries in and got paid £4 for it
For your information, the Paused Interview message appears when you have started the survey, even if it is only by clicking on the link rather than entering any information, and then closed the page without completing it - I have two surveys like that on my account due to my use of the beta version of IE 9 which doesn't like MySurvey for some reason. I was having the same problem without clicking on survey links when it was still Lightspeed alone though and I got the usual standard spiel from Lauren about technical problems.2020 Wins:

For your information, Saetana, I am getting spurious "paused interview" messages, i.e., messages for interviews I have not clicked on before. I think other posters are too.
Also, the rule against pausing surveys means surveys terminated because of a problem within it -- no play button for a survey, say -- can't be re-done. Most other survey companies do allow re-tries, sensibly.
And though I too am getting lots of surveys since the merger, too many of them are non-existent, or "false pause message", or have a technical flaw that make them impossible to finish. And of course, there isn't much point emailing about them....
(I am being paid. No problem there. It's slower, but it's OK)0 -
I second your post clemmatis as I too am getting a lot of erroneous false pause messages.0

I don't mean the MySurvey homepage, it's a different page that you see as soon as you try the survey link. I tried my usual MySurvey log in details and they don't work. I've been invited to three of these surveys now - I emailed "Emma" and asked what the details are, so that I can take the surveys, but of course she hasn't bothered to reply! Any ideas?
Other than this and the stupid "paused survey" problem, I'm still racking up the points really quickly, so I'm not too fussed - but it would be nice if they'd fix the glitches.
Also, if anyone's getting that message at the end of a survey that says "session lost" or whatever - don't panic, that's been happening to me for years, it doesn't mean anything. I still always get the points on my account.
I've had three surveys now requiring the TNS log-in details, and like you I tried my usual info but with no luck. Like you, I've emailed 'Emma' about the problem but had no response. Hopefully if enough of us make the same point they may eventually take notice.
I've also noticed that when I get a survey invitation and then log-in to find it doesn't exist, going back to their original email and clicking on the long link lower down takes me straight to the survey. I've managed to do a couple like that, and was awarded the points straight away.:A A million thanks to everyone who posts :A0 -
I have tried to register, put in all of my details and it came up with an error message.
Tried to register again and it says my email address is already in use, but when I click "forgotten password", it says my email isn't in the database.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670
