I redeemed £6 worth of points to my paypal account but today I notice I have been given £16, when i was redeeming it the site was having problems - so yeah to me, as long as they can't take it off me again!

I had a standard email reply to my message about being unable to access surveys as my interview has been paused. Excerpt below:

'As soon as you click on a suvrvey link, your ID is saved in our computer, whether you reach the first question or not. If you can’t start the survey because the server is busy, because there is a technical problem or because you double clicked on the link instead of clicking once, our system will recognise your Id and not allow you to access the survey and a message will appear saying “you have paused the interview”.'

So basically it's a case of 'our system is crap and it's just tough luck.' :mad:

I am fed up with lightspeed.

i hate there new way of rewarding us. as they dont send the vouchers i used to like.

surveys are less often and seem to be harder to qualify for.

and like others here amazon vouchers always say they have been redeemed!

and they dont reply well to complaint emails.

any one else feeling the same?

Well, I do feel the same with you about the Amazon Vouchers already being redeemed. I sent them around 10 email during the course of a week and all they said was "We're currently waiting for a response from our internal IT department. Warm Regards [enter some name here]".

Also, I do agree about the surveys. You hardly get any! It's sooo annoying. A few things I like about them is that your "points" get credited straight away so you can redeem whatever you want straight away unlike other survey sites such as Ciao UK and ValuedOpinions. Also, unlike ValuedOpinions, they also offer cash via paypal- not just a limited choice of vouchers. Also, it would be good if Lightspeed Gave more points on a survey that took longer (not just the standard of around 110 or 150).

With that said, today I finally got a survey from them about Alcohol. During that survey, I got a text on my phone from LightSpeed (for the first time) to take a survey about Razors. I done the survey on my phone and they said they would credit my account with 100 points in the next couple of days.

BTW, has anyone heard of this survey site called www.paid4surveys.net ? I've seen little posters at traffic junctions around London. Is anyone a member here? And if so, is it a trustworthy site?

I don't blame you at all for feeling that way.

BUT there are more second rate, disorganised survey sites (e.g. Lightspeed, T&V, and Ciao - which has really sucked of late) than there are good ones (e.g GlobalTestMarket.)

Add to that the fact that they vary over time and are inconsistent on what you get. Topical this very day as it happens - if I'd written this yesterday, I'd have said that I hadn't heard from Lightspeed in an age - but then today we end up getting no less than 5 surveys, one of which gets us a kids £5 voucher, and enough points now thanks to the others for another voucher.

It backs the view I've always had that however bad they can be at times you just have to be signed up with all the main survey sites to maximise your returns over time.

Well said, well said. Sign up to as many as possible. Don't fret over not getting enough. There's plenty of other things in life that one can't get enough of to be worrying about. I'm talking about food and money, you dirty rotten scoundrels.

Reliable sources of survey sites include https://www.surveycritic.com, and https://www.surveystar.blogsource.com. Even though I'm in a bit of a slow patch with the surveys (I deleted my blog because I was getting addicted) I signed up to about 70 sites and get 5-10 a day for which I qualify for about half. Made about 50-100 quid a month, so it's not all baloney. Fave is Pinecone Research (they who shall not be talked about), but Lightspeed came in a close second. am getting highly annoyed with lightspeed at the moment, am still waiting for 30 pounds i cashed in way back in the beginning of april, i've chased it several times. they made a huge !!!! up, i changed my email i used with them and they didn't update the new email on the perks website. i've asked them again and again to send the payment to my new email via paypal, they have kept saying it will be reloaded to your new email within the next 24 - 48 hours. there is still no sign of it in my paypal account. i'm going to email them again tomorrow.
