Can't say I noticed this tariff on their website. (Not that I would qualify)

I also couldn't find it but would qualify through being on DLA. Can silvertoes (or someone else) please let me know where they accessed this info. from Southern Electric ?

    The link for Southern:

  • Thanks for the link silvertoes. Unfortunately I don't qualify.

I am also thinking of changing to Ebico for my gas and electricity..as all the comparison sites agree that they are the ones likely to offer me the most potential savings. I am hesitating however, because of their size and a question mark over their 'after sales service', has anybody got any horror stories or otherwise on the ability of Ebico to recify any service and supply problems?

If you want horror stories there are plenty for the bigger companies all over this forum. Would one for Ebico make much difference?

If you read through the other Ebico, Equigas and Equipower threads you will find very few negative comments. Don't be put off by them being a small company, they work through Southern electric in most of the country.

I dont us EBICO but agree they use mainly members of the SSE Group. MY expreience of Southern as a guide is very good. I've never had an off the wall estiamte. readings are done every six months pretty well on the dot, phoes are answered and queries dealt with efficiently. I even had a short period bill issued after my return to bring me in line with the reading cycle for my address. The higher rate units were apportioned to relate to no of days. I've a feeling that some suppliers would have used the opportunity to charge all the units at the higher rate.

    Hi Suzy,
It's a Christian organisation, it helps if you go to church. Don't HAVE to, but with their inside knowledge, they'll know if you don't..

What is the relevance of your post? Ok, Christians may be pleased if you join them, buthelp for the needy is not limited to those within the fold. Think of Chrsitian Aid as an example and the tale of the Good samaitan. NOr do Chritains expect or demand any sort of thanks or beneficial comeback from doing what they do.

So please what are you trying to say?

Sorry Oldwiring, I missed out the smiley....is was a joke.
Even then pushing the gospel on a gas site does have a certain sort of irony.
I do go to church myself, if fact several churches, I do the gardens. :-)
May your gas bill always be low...
