    Quickly.....

Tired Mum keep faith - he will come home, and when he does you won't know whether to cuddle him or leather his bum first! You had no choice but to take the action you did earlier in the day - remember that. My fingers are crossed for a good outcome as soon as possible.

Reverbe I wouldn't worry about that particular character who took a pop at you - not the first time I've seen that sort of post from him/her - seems to just live for confrontation. Interestingly as well Maya said exactly what I was thinking regarding the poster who raised the original question - things just don't seem to add up! People are so often happy to share the most intimate details of their lives on the internet, and are then surprised when people comment on those details? If you don't want it commented on, best to not post in in the first place IMO!

Hockey - heard the news about the crash on my way home from work tonight and immediately thought of you - I'm so glad that your OH is OK, and hopefully they'll get him back as soon as possible.

Tired Mum - hugs - there's nothing worse beleive me (experience). The police will want to know about friends and haunts so write down as much as you can remember. They will also want a head shot and a full body shot so if you've got those then gather them now. Think about what he was wearing and write that down too. They may want to have a look in his room too. Now when they come they will fill out some forms with you - some of the questions will be alarming as will some of the permissions that you have to give them - please don't panic - it's all very routine and don't feel judged if you don't know all the answers - huge hugs hon - PM me if you want a virtual hand hold

Wish I could offer constructive words, thinking of you Tired Mum xxx
  • Evening all!

Mega hugs for Tired Mum and family - keeping my fingers crossed that he comes home soon.

Hugs for everyone else who needs/wants them - including Katie, HockeyDuo and Csarina (good luck with the rest of the move).

Sunny Girl - I think that you and your OH are superstars, taking in that poor boy and giving him a proper family life.

Turning to OS - I have today turned off my central heating - it will be interesting to see how much of a difference it makes when I log my usage on imeasure over the next few weeks. Other than that, just pot washing, cooking tea and preparing tomorrow's packed lunch.

Went to Slimming World tonight - put on 1/2 lb icon9.gif . That will be the result of going to the dogs last Friday - don't know what it would have been if I hadn't walked to work twice this week. I'm just so near and yet so far - only 2 1/2 lbs to go before I hit target with a total loss of 1 1/2 stone. Really need to get my act together and concentrate on what I'm doing.

Well, babysitting again tomorrow and out on Friday, so unlikely to "see" you all again until the Forum has had its upgrade.

Wishing you all a great weekend.

    Good night, sleep tight.
