Our second day on the house move. We packed the car and
dropped the stuff off at the house and then shot off to the shopping centre to pick up some stuff. I was surprised when the mower we had gone for was reduced £10……..so that offset the table I got for OH side of the bed.:j :j
We unpacked the boxes we had taken and sat in the garden eating our lunch.:D The sky engineer said he would be with us between 12 and 3……he arrived just after 2pm as I was making up our new bed and trying to do something with the curtains in the front bedroom. We have sky installed but have to wait for BT to install the phone line and sort out the broadband and we will be set.
The kitchen looks a lot better, most of the stuff is away on cupboards. I put washing soda and boiling water down the sink to clean it out.
Whilst OH was away getting more stuff from the apartment, I started to wash down the paintwork and the floor in the under stairs cupboard and hall. I still have to tackle the front door, its disgraceful.  It needs a good scrub inside and out. I bought some sugar soap and used that on the paintwork. Once I have done the front door the sitting room will be next on the adgenda.
I have taken down the horrid orange pine fittings in the bath room, they will go in a box in the attic just in case we ever move…….over my dead body!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
Back much earlier today for a welcome sit down and watch Paul O’Grady, missed him last night.
Cold chicken and salad for supper tonight…….and the remains of the rhubarb and chocolate pudd I made on Sunday.
Did not sleep too well again last night, better night tonight I hope. We have a bit of a day off tomorrow OH has an appointment at the hospital in the afternoon…….and the workmen are coming to put new hinges on a couple of doors in the morning. I might just have a quick trip to take a few bits to the house……..Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -
