  • Save a fortune on laundry bills. Give your dirty shirts to Oxfam. They
will wash and iron them and you can buy them back for fifty pence.

Domestos is an ideal substitute for Blue Curaco, and far less pricey.

Don't buy expensive "ribbed" condoms, just buy an ordinary one and
slip a handful of frozen peas inside it before you put it on.
  • Turn the car engine off when driving downhill

My husband's Grandad used to do this when driving downhill into his sheltered flat - the kids thought it was really exciting!

regarding a couple of the above,

the vibrator of wasps might work but imagine the pain if the lid pops off.

And the condom, why buy a normal one, you can get them free from a family planning clinic.

Turning the car of while going downhill might be fun, but modern cars invariably use the engine for breaking and the power steering, plus you use as much petrol and increase wear and tear by having to restart the engine.

The best way to save money is to become a recluse, no one cares how often you have a bath, when your underpants were last washed or anything like that. You have no friends so dont need to entertain or have a car to go and see them. You wont have a job so you'll be collecting benefits and after youve signed on a couple of times they'll gladly not want you to go and sign on again, so you can sit back and watch the cheques come rolling in, not to mention getting rent paid, national insurance contributions etc. Total saving ££££££'s
    I owe, I owe,
its off to work I go,
I work all day for f***all pay,
I owe, I owe, I owe :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Me too. Shame.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.
  • Hi !

I thought I would start a light hearted / tongue in cheek thread to see what funny suggestions MSE members have for extreme money saving !!!

My suggestion. Is only go to the loo at work. (ie reduces your home water bill / no flushing the loo at home, plus saves on home loo roll costs).

Any other extreme money saving suggestions ???????

As you are at work you are getting paid to poo as well!!

you will also find that lambrusco also doubles up as a fab drain cleaner oh and not to mention the free bout of cycstytis as well .. think of all the money you will save being so ill that you cant go out ...
oh and if you are planning on doing some re-decorating and need to remove the old wall paper, just get a lady who wears either poison or passion perfume to walk through the room first, you will find that the wall paper will simply float off and as the perfume is so strong it has a half life of approximately 10 years so think of how much wall paper stripping you could achieve with only one squirt!!!
