They ship from Ireland (as in EIRE, not Northern Ireland).MickKnipfler wrote:Where are they? Can you collect and save £60?

Cause i am thinking of trying it, just to save a liitle more.
I have had genuine gripes with Dell on two orders in the past both due to the fact that after missing the delivery i had a 45 mile journey to collect from my nearest UPS depot, the first time they sent me a free laptop case and the second time they gave me a 10% refund ( £34).WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
Blimey what was that ?
That was your life mate
Oh I wasn’t quite ready can I have another go ?
Sorry mate only one per person.0 -

But there's a presentation package included in OpenOffice which you can get for free, if that's any help.0 -
rjtyrell wrote:Yeah its easy to add memory, but its better value to get the £399 laptop through quidco (£381 ish) than get the laptop at £339, as for an extra £60 you get the screen upgrade and the extra 256ram, but really depends if you want the extra screen I suppose.
I think this RAM at £25 for 512MB will do the job of boosting your system:

anyone else have trouble wih their wireless card on th dell
Mine will sometimes find the wireless network and other times not. A couple of times it finds it half an hour later - i know the wireless signal is good as other computers picks it up fine and when it does get picked up by the dell the signal is strong.Treat everyday as your last one on earth, and one day you will be right!0 -
not here. only trouble I have is if the microwave gets used lol. it then keeps disconnect, reconnecting. other than that perfect.
But the card is in the belly and has no decent antenna to speak of
