Has anyone received their "Clearance" phones from e2save....are they in original packaging (+ manuals, cables etc) as such? Are they cosmetically damaged in anyway?0

To gain the remainder of your line rental / cash back please send your 4th, 8th and 12th monthly bills within 30 days of the date stated on the relevant airtime bill, to us and we will credit you by cheque with £96.67 each time.
This will save you £300.00 over the 12 month duration of the contract. In effect this means that your average line rental per month over the contract period is £0.00 per month.
................
strange my offer seems very different!
Not sure how three cheque of £96,67 (3 x £96.67 = £290.01) would save you £300 over the 12 months duration? Clearly it is £10 short.0 -
The answer is in the paragraph you deleted from the original post that you quoted!bigup wrote:
A credit of £10.00 will be raised automatically by cheque within 2 months if you do not cancel your contract. You will receive a text message when this credit has been successfully raised.0 -

e2save Pink Razr V3 (clearance) Orange off peak x-net 1000-full year rental £300 redeemable by 'cashback'
I registered with then ordered through Quidco 28/02/06
Got confirmation of order by email 1/03/06
Got acceptance of order by email 1/03/06
Got dispatch info including Royal mail tracking reference by text & email in the evening 1/03/06 saying delivery before 1pm 2/03/06
Purchase showing on Quidco early hours of 2/03/06
Got package from postman 8.15am 2/03/06
Blister pack has all accessories with it, pack label says 'unit is cosmetically slightly imperfect but electronically and mechanically guaranteed'
I think this is because the flip up bit and battery cover are a very slightly different pink to the other fixed bits of the phone, can't see anything else.
Pack contains very clear detailed information about how to claim Cheque Back redemptions including a table to check which is 4th bill etc.
This bit updated today....
Unbranded and unlocked phone was already connected to Orange network when I put it on charge with SIM card in, and I could make calls, although you are not meant to be able to until you register. I therefore recommend that you don't get delivery to a work address that involves someone else signing for it.
(Also tried my 02 sim card, it autosearched, found network, I made calls)
I called Orange anyway (150-always free no matter what plan you're on)because I didn't have my account number to register with online service.
Got my monthly billing date, factory PIN for SIM unlock, and an instant software 'update' as my V3 wouldn't accept MMS (photos), I was advised that update was to the SIM card and not the phone.
Contrary to Orange booklet-they did not ask for the phone IMEI or the SIM card number. Signed up for 30 free photo messages worth £7.50, valid for 1 month.(Put reminder to cancel in phone Datebook, or you get charged for month 2)
Sending free photo messages is not restricted to Off Peak hours.
Calls to your answerphone use inclusive minutes so listen to messages Off Peak only.
I'm usually firmly in the 'when am I going to get my order?'/'what's going on?' camp so forgive me if the simplicity of this purchase is a wind up for anyone still waiting.
It may be coincidence but I find .uk web transactions between 2am & 7am seem to get processed with the least complications (due to low site traffic?)0 -
i ordered v3 pink-280 cash back at 17:30 last wednesday. How can roshack ordering later than me get the phine already while mine is still awaiting stock? check now it is being processing.dont know what it is going to be like.
I hope i can get this offer.it must be annoying if they dont give us £280 cash back offer.

I went for the offer in the OP, and my receipt (and emails) says that the cashback will total £280, so I presume that'll be the case. I haven't been able to test if its unlocked cos I've only '3' and Orange sims.0

Has anyone else got this problem?
Same here. I do have e-mail confirmation that the total cashbackI will receive 280.00 cashback although this is to be made up of:
240.00 via Redemption as per the documents received plus I should receive a "manual" payment of 40.00 within the next 28 days to make up the 280.00
As to what happens ??
My documentation also said that there was 3 months Orange World Access - Orange new nothing of this and it had not been set up. After another painful experience of e2saves so called Customer service (ha ha) and I now have 3 months trial of Orange 3G Data - this is not Orange World Access but close to it and gives me 1000MB of GPRS data a month (I don't have a 3G phone nor interest in MMS, Video etc so why it a 3G trial I dunno). Worth checking out if you can make us of it.0 -
I guess I was lucky in that way- feel free to say that you 'friend' had no such trouble (although we'll see how it goes when I get to claiming it!). If it helps mine was despatched the 7th or so, and ordered on the 2nd.0
