They're outside playing football.
Would you rather have this or them stir up trouble?
Let them have their fun, stop being a whiney *****, its a bush GET OVER IT.
When I was younger I could only go to the green across the road as other parks were too far away to play without parents,
Your parents were LAZY MUPPETS!0 -
Football games when kids get over about 7 are too much imo for streets that are not designed for sporting activities.
Little kids playing with a plastic ball is one thing, but a gang of teens playing with a leather ball is asking for something to get broken.
They play along the side wall of our local supermarket and hit a friend of ours because they were too impatient for him to walk past.0 -

So by this sort of logic if somebody keeps knocking on your door for hours on end you should be pleased that they are not breaking your window or if they punch your head you should be glad they are not stabbing you.
Get real................................I have put my clock back....... Kcolc ym0 -
I can totally understand how you feel! We used to have a house on an estate, and a family of three children (horible little brats) considered our front garden and the walkway their own personal playground, they would kick the ball at the front of our house, damage the plants and flowers, and it just used to really p*** me off! there was a park 40ft away, and they had a back garden they could play in, so why did they insist on playing outside my home? We moved 2 years ago and now live in a 2nd floor flat, it is so nice and quiet! I know a lot of posters won't like this, but I think there should be child free estates and areas, so if you don't have children you don't have to put up with other peoples!0

I think Lokolo was rushing onto the thread to gain a few 'thanks', as seems to be the norm around these boards - say something short, sharp and rude, with a clear element of soap box and ye shall be rewarded.
S/he was talking shoite anyway - annoying little bu99ers should be shot. When I was a lad, I did what I was told and if it were a neighbour who told me off, I wouldn't dare do it again for fear of being reprimanded by my parents!0 -

I agree 100% - one of the reasons taht we moved from a cul de sac location to a mian road , next door had 2 kids that they pushed out to play who would spend their time upand down our drive and in our front garden - in fact anywhere bu their own house and that was just how the parents liked it:rotfl:0 -
I would go and start playing music in my car really loudly outside their parents house at midnight, and see how they like it. It's clear that the parents don't want them playing round by them, so they send them somewhere else (bit like someone letting their dogs mess outside someone else's house).
Yep they're only kids, but they're not your kids and it's your hedge.
Perhaps get a garden table and go and sit in their front garden reading the newspaper.
Makes me Sooooo angry, these parents who take no responsibility for their children, they just kick em out.Thought processes can be managed positively, so that they help you to achieve what you want, rather than hindering your judgement.0 -

My sis in law doesn't have children and she thinks there should be child free aeroplanes rather than kids running up and down the aisles. I get her point and when we travel with my daughter we always sit as far away from them as possible incase she stabs my daughter with her fork!:rotfl:Thought processes can be managed positively, so that they help you to achieve what you want, rather than hindering your judgement.0 -
I have to agree with the op, it is a pain!!!!! We have that problem with the kids where we live, they play outside our house, gardens etc are open plan, as they are not allowed to kick the ball beside their familys car!!!!!!! but it is ok beside ours. Aaaaaaaaaah0

ive got to say round here we have loads of problems with kids
vandelism ,car thefts/break in ,motorbikes whizzing up the streets at all hours
sometimes when kids are just playing i had to remind myself they are just being kids and id rather that than the above behaviour
i remember as a kid when a certain neighbour used to go on holiday we would 'play' at diving through their hedge
at the time we saw no wrong in it
of course as an adult looking back i can see what it must hve been like for them coming home0
