Maybe they will think you are some weirdo and play somewhere else

Then buy a shotgun (4 gauge will do) and make sure you get the wide spread shot (just incase you're a bad shot)

Oh I forgot to add to hit a moving target you need to add "lead" when aiming

Adults kill me. Kids just wanna have fun. My mum was the same complaining, always pointing to the sign that read 'no ball games'. Always seething and i believe secretly hoping they'd break a window so she could explode.

its telling that their parents arent out with them playing football. do they live in the area? if so perhaps they were told to play where they could be seen. end of the day depending on ho wold they are its their parents who should have ultimate responsibility. Have you tried talking to them instead of blaming the kids?

Its a valid point but I'm not sure where they actually live but tbh i do feel a bit of a misery for complaining about this but its just annoying and i just get the feeling that if something breaks i'm gonna end up paying for it and not the parents

what in front of the hedge or just out of the way totally and if it is the latter why should i move my car to let them play football?

    Will
I'd move it in their way (in front of the hedge) so that they can't play and if they do and damage your car, send the bill to the little gits parents!

I understand very well how you feel. We have had problems with various lots of kids here for 6 years now and after so much time even the smallest thing gets to you.
We have a grass area to the side of our house where the local youths play football or hang around outside my next door neighbours house. They dont seem to be very good aims either, in fact I wonder why they even bother playing as they are so bad at it.
We also live 1 street away from a very big park so they could go there as they are not little kids by any means. They dont though, they stay where they are because they want to cause trouble, they want to throw stuff and kick the ball at your windows, its their game but I dont see how it is fun.
Before I get told that Im an old misery too, Im not, Im 24 and I hate it too!
I think I may have posted before about the many number of things happening to my house, I keep a diary now of it all and have near to 50 incidents since November. Yes these are obviously kids playing games. Its why my windows are always covered in mud/egg/football marks/paint. I never would have done these things when I was younger, but then I guess I was brought up to respect people.

Weve had our car totally trashed, so bad that we had to scrap it.
We have had windows broken on numerous occasions. Once the locals broke one of our kitchen windows with a football, its quite a bit higher than normal and is quite small but they managed to break it as if they had thrown a brick. My Mum happened to be cleaning underneath the window at the time and the glass shattered over her and there was a big piece of glass hanging by a thread which if it had fell it would have gone into her back, theres no doubt about that. Nothing was done about it though, apparently footballs breaking windows are classed as accidental.. mhmm.
Last window that got broken was with a metal pole then a piece of skirting board over 8ft long, its not just footballs we have to deal with.
Its ridiculous it really is. What gets me is that we have never done anything to them, we keep to ourselves mostly and dont bother people in the street apart from hello etc and as the years go by the groups change as they leave school and move onto the big world and leave behind the younger ones of the group to take over their antics. Sigh, hope we can move soon. :o
