  • Greetings from work, got here way too early so I decided to jump on the computer they have set up to do an update.

Got three weeks classroom training then 4 weeks grad bay, then I will be let loose on my own. Loads of nice people that I have started with, gonna make a lot of friends, I am sure.

Feet have been shredded by my new shoes but I am not too worried about that, they will heal and get used to the shoes soon. Slightly worried about making money stretch till my first pay day but I think everyone is in the same boat really when they start a new job.

Need to loose weight, I have gained a dress size in the last year, think I am too comfortable with my fella and what not. Now would be as good a time as any to start making changes.

Tomorrow I am gonna aim to get here a little later, I don't really want to sit around on my own for 40 minutes every morning.

  • Morning, still at my house, drinking coffee and waking up. Found out they are going to be paying us a weeks money on the 3rd which is gonna be a big help. Quite tired at the moment, but I fully expected that on my first week. Making friends well, really enjoying myself.

    Hey All

Had a bit of a bad day yesterday, their has been a little backbiting and whatnot in the group the past couple of days and it's really got me down. Half tempted to keep my head down today and just get on with my own bits, but I dunno, if trouble is gonna find me, it will find me.

I haven't said anything about anyone but I keep getting caught in situations I can't get out of when people moan at me about other people.

    I have a plan!!

A big point of contention seems to be that on the first couple of days, 3 drivers in our group offered lifts to those who take the train (lifts to the train stations), but now I get the feeling they wish they had never offered so my plan is to try and smooth things over is to get a small pressie for them.

Not very DFW but I think it will maybe cause the other people who get lifts to feel a little more grateful.

My plan seemed to work, they appreciated it and it eased the tension. My OH invited me out last night and I was only going to have a couple, but I am majorly hungover today, doing all my old tricks to get rid of it.

  • Haven't updated in about a week. I am on the phones now at work, still a bit nerve wracking but yesterday was much better than Monday. Learning so much about the bank and it's processes and procedures. Plus I get my first full payday on Friday, so money!!

  • I really need my OH to get a job. He is looking for part time work at the moment because he is in college, so when he does get a job, I will still have to support him a bit, but not as much. I worked out last week that £358 a month goes to paying his bills, his share of the rent and his living expenses. With that money I could stick another £200 on my debt repayments and still have money to play with.
