Hi Rubes, a new Diary! Just read your posts re everything, keep positive about sorting the debt ( from a £58k debt 'pro') and you will sort it out, communication is the key.
Your post No7 detailing your migraines is spookily like I get. Its almost like the body says' thats it! I've had enough for a while so I'm having a day off!' Nothing works, head aches, nose etc dry, stiff neck and my face and eyes feel cold and numb,....weird. usually gets sorted out by sleep in the dark and warm ( with awooly hat on if needs be ) and a good hot meal. The first sign of it going is a lot of tingling in my scalp, usually the right side. Its horrible, you have my sympathy, I think its stress related too.

Thank you, Pepe, I hate them because I can't do anything except lie down. But, touch wood, I didn't have one yesterday, however I had my hip to contend with. So that was fun. Feels like my body is falling apart at times but I'm getting things sorted.

My migraines have been treated, been given some migraine preventative pills that seem to be doing the trick but the bursitis in my hip and knee is just getting worse. Woke up this morning in agony, taken some ibuprofen and it's not touched it, just waiting for my house mate to get up so I can get some co-codamol off of him. If that doesn't help, I think I am gonna have to go back to A&E, I'm crying in pain and frustration today. Get up, SD, and give me a hug.

Hey there - wow it seems like you really have a lot going on at the moment. I feel pretty bad hearing it. I hope everything clears up for you though, and maybe they can do something about the Bursitis.

Just thinking about your debts though, I'm struggling a little with balances that are over my limits, and I'm trying my hardest to claw the money back.

At the moment I'm selling all my manga on greenmetropolis, rating songs at Slice the pie and doing daily scratches at butlins bingo, and take-a-break.

I'm not sure if you're doing anything to try and make money online, but I would really recommend it. I myself suffer wih depression, and you have probably been told over and over that it's all about the little things, and even being able to make a £5 payment off my overdraft is a lovely feeling.

As I said, I'm not sure if you do use some of these 'money-making' websites, but I would more than happy to help you out with some of them..

    (Nice icon, too. <3 Reno.)

Thank you, Ollie. To date I have sold pretty much all my manga and books, all my dvds and games, my ds and my phone handset. I use the money to pay off anything that is majorly urgent. Making small progress here and there.

Took a bath yesterday, my housemate ran it for me coz he is a sweetheart, and that stopped the crippiling agony and made it bearable, doesn't seem to have set off again this morning but I am probably still gonna take the ibuprofen to keep on top of it.

I was doing slicethepie but I got out of the habit and found it hard to get back in, made about a tenner on it though which came in handy. Got 30 quid coming from quidco at the end of this month. My jsa is taking a while to get sorted because it had to go to a decision maker, but hopefully that just means I'll get a big back dated sum.

    I adore reno!

Edit: Also I have been sober for 7 weeks today, go me!

    Hey~

Ah, you're already doing a lot to make some extra money! I found it really hard to come to the decision to sell my manga and stuff, I don't know how much of a fan you are, but I do all my reading at onemanga.com now.

I don't know if you do the daily scratches? Only problem there is you'll need £10 to deposit into the bingo account first, don't think that's a possibilty for you right?

Fantastic news about staying sober too! Keep it up.

I didn't want to, don't get me wrong. I still have a couple of books on my shelf that I refuse to sell but if it comes to it, then I will. Same with my dvds and games, there are a couple of box sets that I really didn't want to sell but I needed the money. Wouldn't class myself as a huge fan, I just get recommendations, check them out and the like.

Yeah, £10 is a stretch at the moment, but probably will get to it when JSA get back to me from the decision maker. Staying sober is easy when you are skint, it will be when I have money again that will be the real test.
