Shaz good luck for today xxx Jo sometimes my dad gets to me like that, so I know how you feel, but the positive thing is you are getting on track with sorting out your finances and that is a big plus hun xxx
I will be keeping you in my thoughts today Miro. I'm sorry I'm not able to do it in person, but sending you the biggest hugs I can muster. We genuinely care a great deal about you here; I hope you can see that down the years that we've had this precious little space to share amongst us.
Please take good care of yourself today and post back if you can sweetheart.
Much love as always, and same goes to all the wonderful people here,

From her last breath to ashes in under 24 hours.
I know what you mean. I keep thinking about my last morning with my dog. She hadn't been ill and I was woken up at about 4.00am because I could hear scratching. I went downstairs and she was standing in her crate scratching at the bottom of it. It wasn't like her to wake me up like this and I let her out to go to the loo, which she did. I now know it was because she was feeling uncomfortable. I wasn't to know that morning that it was her last morning. I thought she just had an ordinary stomach upset, but she died that night at the vets.(It breaks my heart that I wasn't with my special girl at the end and that she was on her own at the vets).
You are lucky that you were with your cat when she passed, although I know you probably don't feel lucky. You will be quite upset today, of course, but remember her lovely little ways and how you were able to give her a good life and then be with her at the end. Hugs for you at this sad time. ((()))0 -
hi all, hope everyone is as well as they can be today, exta hugs for miro, and anybody that needs them.
today i went to visit the new school joshua will attend from september, i was dreading going, as the school, (actually its a pupil referal unit) has a really bad reputation. well my mind was put at ease almost as soon as i walked trough the doors. there was a lovely atmosphere, the place was so calm, clean, ( even the boys loo's) there was no graffiti anywhere, no shouting no bad language. we were there a good couple hours, being showed round, (hence the visit to the boys toilets to ease joshua mind)
the activities they have on offer besides the basic curriculum include motorbike training, and learning to drive a car on private land. there was respect between students and staff which is rare these days.
needless to say josh is very excited to start there later this year, its only a small place with a total of 35 students attenting, 7 per class max, and he is very lucky to have a place there offered to him,
hugs all
shaz xxxenjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)0 -
Shaz that's great news, must be such a relief. And the fact that Josh liked it too. Nice to think he'll be getting some individual attention, sounds like a good place. When does he start there - in September hun?

It must be hard when it's sudden. I knew Paws had not long left. She stayed the best part of 6 weeks longer than the vet gave her, but it's still incredibly tough. I kept hoping they had got it wrong and she'd pull through. We never give up hope.
I know what you mean by 'lucky'. At least she was with us all. Your dog will know you did your very best, so please don't beat yourself up over it.0 -
