I deliberately set a link rather than an actual pic and mentioned that it was my cat so that you would be able to avoid it, Little Monkey. Again you have taken something that I said completely the wrong way. In no way was it meant to be malicious or funny. I'm actually quite upset that you thought it was done maliciously, but never mind.
morning everyone. Hope I didn't upset anyone else :S. *big hugs* to LM, sazzy and beachbeth and anyone else who pops in. OOh beachbeth, would you do mine if I sent it round? :rotfl: I'm not a fan of ironing.... in fact, up to a couple of weeks ago, I had an ironing board but no iron! I have a cuppa too, but its probably gone cold now. Got a call from work about a half hour ago saying I didn't need to come in :T I'm so happy !
We've got stuff to do today, plus housework that I didn't get done over the weekend but DH has decided we're going back into Aberdeen to see his dad again. Oh roll on Wednesday when he can drive himself!
have a good day everyone

Oh Plushy, what can I say, he's a t*ss*r of the first degree. To dump you by text, blame you for him joining the army ... but judging from what you have said before, this has been a long time coming. Just feel how you feel, there is no set way to mourn the end of a relationship.
And DO THAT DEGREE!! Go for it!~*Plushroom*~ wrote: »So an update, I'm now single. Of all the ways for it to end I get an angry text doing it whilst taking out his frustrations at being in Iraq on me.
Oddly I'm not crying, I don't think I have the energy to shed anymore tears. Who knows, maybe I'll feel differently tomorrow, or just the same.
A little scared that I don't know whether this is because I don't have the strength to keep fighting for the relationship or just that my depression has made me numb again. S'pose time will tell on that one.
Going to go focus on other things, like the OU degree I want to do. Have to finish all the forms and things for that.
I hope everyone is doing well, hugs for those who are and even bigger hugs for those that aren't.0 -

Little Monkey, I have no wish to sound unwelcoming, and I'm sorry about your bipolar and phobia, but maybe you should try the other depression thread and see if it suits you better? We love our cat pictures, and it gives many of us a great deal of pleasure, and to be blunt I don't see why we should be denied that pleasure or avoid any mention of cats.
You call us unwelcoming - well sometimes I don't read every page so I don't recall seeing your name - and cliquey - many of us have built up a rapport. I know we all get sensitive at times, such is the nature of depression, but please be aware that calling us selfish can be seen as offensive. You complain about Poppy's cat link, but then posted a picture that many of us had said was causing us problems. Consideration goes both ways.
On an aside, have you sought help for your phobia? That might make your life easier, I wonder if hypotherapy would be worth a try.0 -

What I find odd is he really shouldn't be taking out his anger at joining the air force on me, I didn't even know him then and without him joining he's still have been in America and we'd have never met. I know that what he's going through in his deployment is stressful and hard, but he told me to focus on getting through the depression and not worry about him, and then during his angry text threw that in my face. It's not the first time he's said something and then taken it back and throw it in my face, but I guess I'm just exhausted. He can go take out his frustrations and mess with the head of someone else who actually deserves it, because it's finally hit me that I don't deserve it.
I hadn't said to anyone because I'd been trying to pretend it didn't happen but I had a very dark time last week where I was not thinking straight. I'm not going to go down that road again though, yesterday when everything ended a switch flicked in my head and I got this sudden and stubborn determination that I am going to fight this and become the best person I can be.
Just trying to fill in all the forms for the degree now, boy there is a lot to fill out. Still got the stress of my New Deal thing at the jobcentre on Thursday (Scared it's somehow going to be my fault that no-one will employ me) but things can only get better...once the forms all get figured out at least. The "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Thanks LM, still not feeling anythng about it - not sure if that's exhaustion from it all or just numbness from the depression. But I am getting a lot of cleaning and tidying done.
