    Hi

I feel so tired but can't sleep, so posting on here

I felt quite good today but what is it about food shopping that really wipes me out? I get to the stage I hate food. The shopping for it, the cost, the cooking it - so much work is about food and how much it costs us and it makes us fat.

I hate getting hungry at the wrong time, meaning I end up reaching for something quick.

When I get tired, I feel such a !!!!! and people have been very pleasant today but not had the energy to be as friendly as I would like to be.

Why the hell does MSE !!! the word for a female dog?
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:
I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.

Sorry to hear that some of you are struggling at the moment. Miro, you seem like such a lovely person when you post on here and it is just your confidence that is making you feel such an unloveable person. I quite often struggle with confidence and I think some of it is to do with only being five foot tall. However, I try to focus on my good points - Im pretty, have nice hair etc. I agree with Sazbo and think it would be a good idea to get your teeth done in stages. Don't think of it as one big job that needs to be done.

Bubbles, I really feel for you. I know what its like to feel numb and at your lowest ebb. I remember then getting angry at the depression itself for making me feel like this. How dare it ruin my life in this way! I wasn't going to let it win - no way! Feel free to offload here because we all understand. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Just hang in there until you see that chink of light. Hugs for you.

Same here, Beth. In fact, I think I'm a smidgen under 5 foot lol. And for most of my life it seems to have been a constant source of fascination for other people? Honestly, if I had a £1 for every time over the years someone has said to me, "No seriously, how tall are you??", or greeted me with "Hi, short stuff", or held a door open for me but made walk underneath their arm as they did so... I could have retired many years ago! :rotfl:

I used to get very upset about it, but then I realised it's clearly not me who has an issue with my height - or lack of it - it's them, isn't it? And since my adorable o/h is 6' 5"! - and he doesn't have a problem - then why should anyone else? :rotfl:

Anyway the good news is it's Wednesday, which means we're halfway! :j

Big hugs to CC Star and anyone else who needs them, and Miro - what Beth said! xx

    Much love to all,
    Sazzy xxxxxxxxxx

  • Aww Sazbomber you're a lovely little package! For what it's worth I'm 5ft and .02 inches tall or 153cm, I only know this because I was measured recently and have lost 2cms off my height in the last year

Miro, I wonder if it would be worth you starting a thread or sending toothsmith a pm, he's a dentist and I've seen posts from him explaining how the nhs charges work before. Tooth trouble is miserable and it impinges on everything, both from a pain and confidence point of view - I hope it's something that can be resolved soon :(

big huggs to all of you xx

    :hello: Everyone,

Hope all is well,I am fine today.I have been at Mums all day as My Uncle and Auntie came over to see my parents new house for the first time and it was nice to see them.I chatted to them and then I had to have a 2 hour sleep at Mums before I went back home.I went to the pub and had a drink with friends and then went indoors for the rest of the evening.

    Have a nice evening!

    love and light,

    :hello: Bubbles11,

Sorry to read your post from last night. If in crisis phone The Samaritans.they are contactable 24/7

    see their website:

    http://www.samaritans.org/talk_to_someone.aspx

they are good as what you tell them is confidential and none of your family will find out what you said to them.I used them in my darkest part of my life and I made sure first that what I said stayed confidential between me and them and they said all was confidential and then I talked about what I needed to.Afterwards I felt so much better for offloading and If I was in a crisis again I would reach for the phone and ring them for a short chat.I eventually e-mailed to them to say I was well again and thanked them for being there my lifeline and they are your lifeline too,you just have to reach for the phone and speak to one of the advisors.

Use them if you need to Bubbles and I am sure in time you will feel a lot better.

    love and light,
