Awww. Thanks Tiff.
Last year was a really bad year for me. I'm glad this one is better.
How are you, sweets? *hugs*

Hello lovelies :hello:
Good to hear from you allHmm... dontcha just love Mondays? Not? :rotfl:
Had quite a productive weekend; very unusual for me! We've started the process of moving my things out of my place, with a view to getting it ready to sell... hopefully. My lovely o/h Gilly Badger has been endlessly patient with me - he's a saint!
Salvaged some of our toms in the garden from the dreaded blight that struck them a few weeks ago, so all is not lost. I'm pleased about that coz it was so upsetting to see them in a poorly state. Cucumbers still producing like crazy lol... anyone fancy a cucumber?!
Tiffy - good to have you back, I shall await my renewed smartie subscription. Do I need to submit a recent passport photo with it?Beth - post some pics of the lovely decor when you've finished! xx And WVW - I might just have to fight you for Johnny D!;)
Have a good day everyone
Much love,

hi t, welcome to the thread, we're all afriendly bunch here, if you feel your meds are not working for you, have you considered goping back to your gp, and trying something different?
as for the washing up, do you have any stardrops in the house, a small amount is fine, can't think of anything else you could use right now.
hugs
shaz xxenjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)0 -
Hi Tia, welcome to the thread x
I know what you mean about having a million things to do and not knowing where to start. It's far easier said than done, but just focus on the rest of today, or the next hour, or next minute - whatever's manageable for you hun. Otherwise everything just feels too overwhelming.
Re Washing up liquid - it's not stupid at all, am trying to put my thinking cap on hereHave seen folk on the old style thread suggest Stardrops as an alternative... or soap flakes? Or soap and lemon juice maybe? I'm at work so just wanted to post a quick suggestion or two, will try to think of some more!
Re your medication - if you feel it's not working, would you be able to have a chat with your doctor about alternatives that might work for you?
There's a lovley supportive bunch of people on this thread so please post any time you feel the need to.
Take care and big hugs,
Sazzy xxxxxxxx
ETA: Shaz our posts crossed(Hope you're doing ok are the boys back at school yet? xxx)

hi sazzy, the boys are back at school tommorrow :j :j:T, its been a long 7 weeks, but we've survived, ian has been a massive help, especially the last week, when we were away on holiday, don't think i'd have coped alone.
its funny, but just 12 months ago, i was in such a bad place mentally, and never thought things would change.
i met ian in may of last year, and we emailed and text for a while, we didnt meet again til the september, and been together ever since:T
glad to hear things are going well with you and gilly, good luck with selling the flat hun x

No problem at all, Tia
You're very welcome to talk here anytime. Bubble bath - now why didn't I think of that! Just do as much washing-up as you need done for now, the rest can wait:) and good idea re making docs appointment - it often seems that what works for one person doesn't work so well for another - so it's definitely worth trying some alternatives until you find what's good for you.

thanks hunYou know, I honestly thought I would spend the rest of my life on my own. People used to say "you never know what's around the corner" and I refused to believe it, but it just goes to show. And it's fantastic that you're getting support from Ian - it's nothing less than you deserve though hun xx Does this mean we both have to buy hats?;):D :rotfl:

Hey Tia and welcome to the thread honeybunch. *hugs*
I find it hard to find the motivation for things sometimes too.
I didn't think of bubble bath for washing up. Good one!
You'll always find welcome arms here, hun.

Heya Saz.
And how the devil are you?
Somebody used that line in a text to me the other day and it sounded rather posh and I wanted to try it out myself. :rotfl:
Tehe.

Hi guys!
Morning cupcakes and welcome to Tunasday.
I'm sending a warm Tiffyto Tia-Maria06 (tia).
Well done for taking the first step and posting, hunnie. I see the thread's resident guardian angels have welcomed you into the clan as usual. You're most welcome tia and I hope you find it helpful being here. Feel free to post as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. Breakfast was at 4.30a.m. today so you've missed that but I'll be happy to meet you at the catflap around 9.00am and give you a guided tour of the place - just wait till you see sazzy's room!
(loves you really sazzy!) Don't worry tia, I do know that I'm not a cat really.
It's good to see people posting again now that life is returning to it's usual chaos after the summer hols. Yes the anklebiters are going back to their classroom cages at last! You made it shaz!
I don't expect that I'll get any more peace of mind from DS when he starts his 2nd uni term in a couple of weeks. They've now got an optional 2 weeks of daily 'warm up' classes from 9am to 1.30pm that they can attend if they want to, in order to regain the ability to put their legs up behind their ears once again after the summer hols.(Aah, those were the days!
)
It's amazing though how much they can regress due to the long hols and they have to work very hard to get back to their usual form. He is excited about going back though. The flying visit last week was literally that - he got here 9pm Tuesday night and left on Thursday night. He started coming out with all these technical terms for what he's doing and showing me them slowly, like I was already a drooling granny in a residential home for the hopelessly thick. I is not quite a thicky Tiffy yet!Granted, I may get a little absent-minded sometimes, that's all - y'know, like putting something important away in a really safe place and then having to go on a tiffin' 'Tomb Raider' mission to find it again.
I'll give him bloody ''develope''!
Right that's my breakfast rant over with. Oh no wait - I just want to give you notice that there may be a severe session of spelling errors as I just got one of those media keyboards. I only set it up this morning and I haven't learned how to drive it yet!All the letters on the keys are tiny and there are all these extra buttons around it's edge, just waiting to trip me up.
I've also only had 3 hours sleep so please don't make any sudden moves!
Hoping you're all well and wishing you only good things.
Much Love,
Tiff xxx"If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought." ~ by Peace Pilgrim.***'You just got Tiffed!'***0
