    Hello everyone

I just popped in to see how everyone is. I have managed to do the hoovering for the first time in a week so I am feeling pleased with myself. It does make a difference!

Thank you Tiff for the welcome.

Janninenew I have pm'd you but here is some advice which may help others so I'll put it in here. I try to keep nuts and dried fruit and cereal in the house so that if I have times when I can't be bothered to prepare anything to eat, I can just grab a handful of these. It keeps my energy up and helps with vitamin intake too, better than grabbing cakes and biscuits. I hope this helps someone. I can't suggest what to do about the lack of appetite thing, except to say maybe you need to say, "I will eat something (however small) at lunchtime today," and then stick to it. I hope you#re feeling better soon.

    Take care everyone.

    Hi all

Just a quick update. I'm feeling a little happier today, the valuer has been round and i now have to wait his decision. I think i've accepted that there is nothing more i can do and worrying will not make it go away. I've just managed half a pot noddle (not healthy, but quick and easy!!) and im making the effort to go out to my friends house tonight for a girls night!

Hope everybody's weekend will be ok and stress free!

    Take care
    Jannine xx

hi all, your post made me smile cb2, thanks, smiley t, i sometimes eat dried fruit and nuts in stead of meals too, jannine, glad to hear you've eaten something, enjoy your night out.
had a good day so far today, ian took me and kids to supermarket,so much easier handling the kids when there is two of us, then he went to work, (he does shifts). after lunch my mum had the kids for a couple of hours and i went to my craft group, was nice seeing friends i hadnt seen for a few weeks, and catching up. just me and kids for rest of day now, ian not finishing til midnight, so is staying at his own house
    hugs all

hope everyone is having a good day today. i started my new meds today...so far nothing out of the ordinary. i walked to town today and i was really chuffed to cut 10 mins off the time it usually takes, ive taken up walking into town now and watching what i eat to loose all the weight i put on from the last lot of meds. here's hoping ill be back to where i was before by the time i go back to uni.

plus i plan on buying some new autumn stuff nearer the time. thinking of shopping i havent bought anything for ages...think im also put off cos im not quiet sure what size i am and dont want to shell out on something that wont fit in a cpl months time. but i saw this top at monsoon http://www.monsoon.co.uk/invt/52004433&bklist=icat,5,shop,women,womentops,tunics which i think is absolutely gorgeous. may treat myself for my b'day.

have a good evening everyone x
  • Some good news - I signed the lease on my flat this week (was previously just renting a room here), so now I have my very own little place for me and the kitties! Plus had a drink with Handsome Ex-Boyfriend to celebrate, which went very well. No, not that well lol.
