  • Morning all :D

Busy day here today :D Need to go out and track down a bicycle pump for OH, we got him a bike last week so that he could cycle to work rather than pay £3 a day in bus fares and he has somehow managed to deflate a tire already  Was highly amusing yesterday, he was having kittens cos he thought it was a puncture and he doesn't know how to fix those..... waited a full half hour before telling him I can fix punctures :rotfl:

Yesterday was a lovely day here, we went out for a long walk while chicken was roasting and came back to a gorgeous smelling house and shattered 4 yr old :D

OS here is going to be 2 loads of washing, looking a bit dull outside but dry so should get it on the line, am making stock with chicken bones as I type (smells soooo nice) and will be making that into chicken and sweetcorn and chcken and veg soups later. Dinner today is leftover veg from yesterday fried up, a la the way my nan used to do it and tea is chicken fajitas using some of the leftover chicken :D

Also going to declutter the sid unit as we have too much stuff and need to ring my landlord as we have no hot water here at the moment  Not bothered that the heating not working, but the hot water is a kinda a necessity!

Anyhoo, have a nice day all (((hugs))) to those who need em, am off to get dressed and nip to Asda :D

I thought winter was over for you lot. :D

Well I have tried most months out here, excluding December, and so far found the wettest to be Easter whenever it falls:confused:

    Hi folks.

Back to some sort of normality after all my 50th birthday celebrations. Family & friends have been brilliant - eat all u like Chinese meal on Friday, Seaside trip on Saturday & a picnic & country walk yesterday!!

Managed to get all washing dry outside on the line yesterday.

Off to work now then gym this afternoon for an hour. I'm really enjoying it & it seems to be improving my asthma.

HM chicken curry tonight & must get some cleaning done sometime today!! Still got lots of flowers, cards & ballons hiding the dust!! lol

(((Hugs))) to those who need them.

Non OS post from a non OS home today...

I'm upgrading my cold to a virus. I can tell that it is bad from the shedloads of self pity. So it is likely to be sausages and baked potatoes for tea.

Little bear is tired after completely failing to go to sleep until 10pm. He had his bed time routine, climbed into his bed and then we heard him on the monitor playing, singing, turning the pages of books - anything but sleeping. Usually when he is tired he goes to turbo, so I forsee lots of achy getting up to retrieve or rescue. Fortunately for me, LB doesn't get grumpy when he gets tired, so that is nice.

Mummysaver - so sorry to hear your news. It is so hard to lose a friend, even a furry one.

    Csarina - good luck tomorrow!!!

MoneySaving Diva - hope you are okay, thinking of you.

Donny-gal - What a dull diet, though I suppose if you can stick to it you should feel fantastic soon. Good luck.

    Hugs to all.

Hi Bargain bird - the curry is one that i made in the slowcooker, i started off with a recipe and didn`t have half the ingredients so i improvised. It is lovely but i`ll be willing to bet that i can`t make it taste the same next time around.
I`m on the lookout for a new recipe to try.

If i`m lucky and it does turn out similar when i make another i shall post the recipe.

The problem is I don't lose enough/anything on it, or anything other, it is not that much down from normal as I cut down all the time to stop gaining. If I was normally a burger/chip munching chocoholic then it would work, but I am not:o  . (Could be a chocoholic without much tempting:D ).
