Freedom, sorry I've missed what you are being assessed for? Hope it goes well

I've been out for my walk. Didn't do as well as yesterday.:o Some days it's harder than others, and yesterday was tough but today it was almost impossible. I was so scared and really really didn't want to go. Eventually I needed the loo, so had to get off sofa and told myslef I couldn't sit down again until I'd been out. This was good flyingwise, I put away the dry washing, started th WM, did a binbag dance and put away washing up!

Anyway, I took the rubbish out to the dustbins and then my goal was to make to the end of the close (original plan was to walk to the end of the road the close leads off) but I saw two women talking in a front garden and I didn't want to walk past them and then back again 20 seconds later so turned round and came home. I felt like I was going to faint and I'm shaking like a leaf but I'm home now and can calm down hopefully. Sorry I didn't go very far. Might try again later if I feel up to it, as it feels like I put a lot of effort in for not much result!

ETA: Thanks Egon, I will try to do another walk later maybe possible not really no actually I will try! Can you tell I'm keen? LOL!
Well done Mozzy with your walk

I'm back now, defuzzed, and have booked a massage, manicure, pedicure and my next waxing appointment over the next four weeks.

House is freezing, so need to have lunch (soup I think, I need something hot) and then get on with some flying so I keep warm!

Glad to hear it went well Triker

ETA - rosepink - the point was that you made the effort. And you've done some flying. It's all building up gradually. Maybe you should aim for walks on alternate days to begin with, so you have time to recover in between. Maybe you could set yourself a different challenge for the non-walking days (do you have an exercise DVD of any kind that you could try?)

Rosepink, It`s the end of my first year in training to become a counselling practitioner and I am being assessed on my abilities to counsel effectively, with a set time frame and all the legal jargon etc...

Don`t laugh but Jordan :rotfl: does a fabulous workout DVD I came back from holiday one year and was the heaviest I had ever been and this workout shifted it all plus I was very toned...But thats two years ago now..:o I hate gyms plus can`t afford it so this was the answer for me!!

Now I have a dog so walking her keeps the weight off... Hugs
The Grass may look greener :o but it`s always going to take just as much mowing ;)

Greenbee, yes I have a Davina McCall DVD. It’s really good and I like doing it. I chose it cos she is mad and I thought I wouldn’t get tired of watching her everyday! The only problem is that our place is too crampt and I kept banging into the furniture. It got a bit painful in the end, so I’m going to wait til we get a bigger place. My dream at the moment is to move to a place with a bedroom, and normal size rooms!
After 7 attempts to post this at 1:20 I will have to wait til later to post. It keeps deleting what I’ve written and then telling me my message is too short. Yes, because it keeps deleting the words!

Oh hurray, I can post again! Don't know what happened! It was very annoying!

I'm fine Freedom, it takes a lot to insult me! I do want to lose weight, which is why I want to go for walks, but haven't been able to walk alone for a long time as I have agoraphobia and depression and anxiety problems. Agoraphobia makes me really scared to go outside, and altho I can go from my car to a shop or library or whatever, just going out for a walk is extremely hard. That's why this week I have a new goal of going for a walk everyday and hopefully eventually I will find it easier.
Thanks for your PM, I'm really not upset by anything you've said!

Rose, I think you did just great! I wouldn't worry about walking past people just a few minutes later - as I tell my teens, most people are far more interested in themselves than they are in anyone else! If you want to look purposeful, then why not carry an envelope that you pretend you're about to post? Shove it in your pocket for the walk back!! (Alternatively, borrow a pushchair and little one, or a dog, brilliant excuses for dawdling about...)

I've done precious little flying, just a bit of washing up and tidying. I woke early with a banging headache, and then have felt sick and pathetic all morning. Just about to try some homemade potato and leek soup and a bit of toast. I think I'll cancel the supply day tomorrow, as I'd rather be well for the holiday.
