Parents' evening went well, but I do feel like I've wasted a lot of time - I sat for 2 hours and only saw 4 sets of parents

lilysue - how nice to see you too - how is MIL - if its just for cleaning through the DW - or WM you could use soda crystals and vinegar - works really well.

dusty honey - you are not lettting anyone down please dont you or anyone think like that - I said what I did because I felt we all needed to focus a wee bit more again and not leave it all to the weekend - the stars are not important in the grand scheme of things -they are a means to an end - to help us be motivated and achieve more.
You have loads to do this week so you have different flying to do and far more important than the stars (((hugs)))

    Evening all

I've managed to half do the kitchen - I'll sort a list in a minute. My kind friend and her hubbie went to Nan's with OH to get the oak sideboard and move it to my kitchen. It seems strange to be there but feels right too and I'm sure Nan would love the fact it is now in the our kitchen (even though it is going to be a shoe cupboard!)

Also tested DS1 on his french oral. Just going to wrap DS2 presents now and then see how I feel about doing anything else.

toots - I've just realised... we're both behind on our lent figures! I've just been through my diary (several times) to check, and as it's nearly 5 weeks now we should be on 33 days (unless you are having a day off on Sunday it means that we do 45 days insted of 40 though). So I need to update, as I have actually managed to stick to the plan every day!

Froddy - stay asleep in the morning... and send whatever it is that is waking you up over here please!

Toots and Greenbee, yes I think I might need to go back to the GP. The painkillers he gave me are making no difference, the pain is getting worse and I would like to know what I should be doing to make it better.

On the subject of sleep, that James Wong bloke had a hop pillow on his program the other week - the recipe is probably online on hte BBC website. The people who used it were insomniacs and it worked really well for them. The program is called Grow Your Own Drugs and it's on Mondays at 8:30. It's quite good actually.

Flying - wet washing/dry washing etc.

    ETA:
Top news about BB Soappie, so pleased. Sorry to hear the user was a pain, hope that’s the last you’ll see for a while!

Hope things get better soon Pigpen, we are all here to support you if you need to talk or scream or shout or anything at all! Big hugs

Hugs Fedup, hope you manage work – be careful, hope you recover from your whiplash

Well done GTX on your knitting – it’s great! I need to get back to it when my shoulder is better

Hope Casleigh is ok, anyone seen her around recently? What about Emily, has she been on today?
