Made Bol sauce, stood there and watched the pan and burnt it, removed nearly on fire saucepan from gas hob and onto the wooden chopping board and burnt that with the base of the saucepan!

I am very tired tonight, it is ages since I have burnt anything, but it tasted ok. I am so cross with myself

    Wm on
my once clean kitchen, has now been re cleaned.

Watching corrie, then washing up and off to bed.

Well done to everyone for all the flying they have done

Hugs to those that are having a bad time.

Magnificent Monday - Kitchen and dining room
    Level One
    Level Two
Wash windows and sills - gas fitter still not finished so there'll be more dust flying about tomorrow so will do these tomorrow night
    Level Three
Sweep and mop the floor - swept but not mopped for the same reasons as the windows aren't done

    Extras
    1. Thoroughly clean the cupboard full of tins!
    2. Run the WM's and DW's through a clean cycle
    3. Clean all the filters and door seals etc
    4. Wipe a shelf or 3 and staighten all the stuff on them.
    I don't think we've done too bad.:D

and the poor gas fitter didn't leave until after 8 - it's just 'cosmetic' stuff tomorrow apparently, our old boiler was rated 'f' and the new ones 'b' so hopefully we'll start saving some money on the heating to pay for the boiler!

i've been a bit clever (for me) and changed my settings so i've only got 8 pages too! i know it's only psychological but it does seem more manageable iyswim:confused:

    HHK - 9:00 - 9:30 anyone?

AnWmum how about fruit muffins to use up the dried fruit, or make an easter cake with it.
