The washing is all dry and put away. Dinner cooked, eaten and cleared away.

I've finished washing the tops of the kitchen cupboards. To be strictly accurate I've washed as far as I can reach standing on a kitchen chair so that will have to be good enough. I don't do step ladders and no-one else will help me so that's it.

I've also done inside another cupboard. I've just got the medicine cupboard and the larder to do now. I'm not moving tins about while the cats are asleep, I value my peace too much. That can be done tomorrow when they're awake.

Ok. All caught up, I think!! Still no flybaby - we're on tenterhooks here!!

Freedom2b - sounds like we should both stay away from anything flamable!!:D Loved the Intelligent Women post!

Funfairprincess, looks like you had a good 3HC!

Pigpen - and others who can't sleep - have you tried Valerian Tea? It's an acquired taste (but takes less getting used to than the Chinese Herbal Tea I also tried.....bleeeurghh.....). Hope that you are ok, hun.

Toots - thanks for the open nagging post, and I'll try to pull my weight.

ETA: Wendywitch, that's brilliant news- must be a weight off your mind.

I am kind of following my own list for this week, just fiddling around with the routine, to see what works - but as it covers all areas, I should get all Pigpens lists done, just in a different order!

HHC finished long ago but had to do the school run.

    Things left to do....

Magnificent Monday - Kitchen and dining room
mop the floor...half way through. Literally scrubbing with a scrubbing brush to get all the dirt out of the grooves in the lino. TIP: never buy wood effect lino....to many grooves and regular mopping doesn't get it spotless.
    Extras
    1. Thoroughly clean the cupboard full of tins!
    2. Run the WM's and DW's through a clean cycle
    3. Clean all the filters and door seals etc
    4. [STRIKE]Wipe a shelf or 3 and staighten all the stuff on them.[/STRIKE] did on top of the fridge...was disgusting! Now gleaming.
Off to do the rest of floor. Was thinking about doing spag bol for tea but considering the effort put into cleaning the floor today (see above) I don't want the floor messing up and believe me the girls get it everywhere! Maybe they'll have to have a 'carpet picnic' in the lounge cos I've not done in there yet!!!!:rotfl:

Wipe cupboards before putting anything in

    Washing up
Sort everything on dining table (HOTSPOT)
    Pans onto shelf
    Dry ingredients into cupboard

    [STRIKE]Clean out fridge and freezer[/STRIKE]
    Wipe mugs, plates, cutlery.

    PLUS (This week sometime)
Iron creases from packing clothes and curtains.
    [STRIKE]Grocery shop
    [/STRIKE]
Buy hangers, laundry bag and plastic drawer thingy - will walk to shop when its not piddling it down
Write revision list for May exams - half done
Sort underwear and socks into drawers
    Laundry

I've also taken the curtains back to the old flat (washed dried and ironed) finished off the little bit of cleaning there, chucked a load of soda crystals down the enw bathplughole as its a bit slow to drain, taken out a binbag of rubbish.

Planning on blitzing the rest of the kitchen stuff after a :coffee:
