    Toots etc

I have done as much as I can physically do (I can't carry buckets etc - buckets of water and crutches do not make a good combination!) - can I claim the star all the same?

  • Well fridge degunged. It sure did need it- there were things growing in there:eek: . I've also thoroughly cleaned the cupboard full of tins. Yeuk! A tin of chestnut puree had blown and the sticky mess was everywhere. Not surprising seeing that the use by date was 1998:rolleyes: . All other tins now checked to make sure they are ok and in date.

Toots please may I have a star as my list is all done:j :j .

Only the washing to bring in and fold&put away and then it is me time.

    Patchwork today.

Well I'm back in, having had to do last minute panic cleaning this weekend when friends were coming round has made me realise this is by far the most useful place on the whole internet!

I want to give my dishwasher a clean through run, but I don't have any of that dishwasher cleaner stuff , is there anything I could use instead?

Been good so far today, done quite a few things and in a minute I'm off to finish the rest. I invited 'toxic friend' over for a good[strike] old moan[/strike] chinwag and she knew not to stay too long thankfully so she has eaten lunch with me and now has gone home. I felt it was a good idea to actually invite her so she will at least feel wanted by someone! She's had a lot to moan about lately. Up until I asked how she was we actually had a good laugh about some things! Maybe the secret is not to ask :rotfl:

    Never Argue with a Woman

One morning, the husband returns the boat to their lakeside
cottage after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap.
Although not familiar with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat out.
She motors out a short distance, anchors, puts her feet up,
And begins to read her book.
The peace and solitude are magnificent.

Along comes a Fish and Game Warden in his boat.
He pulls up alongside the woman and says, 'Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?'

'Reading a book,' she replies, (thinking, 'Isn't that obvious?')

'You're in a Restricted Fishing Area,' he informs her.

'I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing. I'm reading.'

'Yes, but I see you have all the equipment.
For all I know you could start at any moment.
I'll have to take you in and write you up.'

'If you do that, I'll have to charge you with sexual assault,' says the woman.

'But I haven't even touched you,' says the Game Warden.

'That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment.'

'Have a nice day ma'am,' and he left.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

MORAL: Never argue with a woman who reads. It's likely she can also think.

Send this to four women who are thinkers.

If you receive this, you know you're intelligent

Sorry, just had this email and had to share it!!

It`s come out huge though did try to reduce but couldn`t!!
