Count me in this week... 2 weeks since moving into the new rented house and finally I can say it is 99% clean... still a smelly downstairs loo but am not cleaning that... the agent can do that. Anyway - Kitchen is sparkling and have found a new product at Lakeland that will help keep the cooker clean... actually 2 products... oven liner - very thick PTFE material that you cut to size and can wash and reuse... BRILLIANT! and for Sunday roasts there is this cooking wrap with tinfoil on the ends... used it yesterday with the chicken and it browned the chicken better than before and best of all - NO MESS to wipe out of the oven... my partner was very impressed and he and I plan to use it on anything we roast in the oven!

Anyone up for a HHC - the kids are out of school in an hour! Mine get home about 3:45pm so I would like to feel I can finish the list before they are home!

*pops head round corner to see who's in*
Problem almost sorted, took a lot less time than I thought. I made a mountain out of a....mountain! But, I have a great family, and they've taken a load off me. Many thanks for your kind pm's and messages - I am truly sorry for worrying you! I had reached crunch point, and needed to get things sorted - involved jumping in the car and crossing 4 counties, but I got there!
Scanned the last thread - Rosepink, walking is a fab idea. I go most mornings with my neighbour and her dog. Just knowing that someone is waiting for me makes me get out of the house. Keep going, you've got all or support.
Is there a new flybaby yet??????
Oh, and I'd be Helena Bonham Carter - the chick with the mad hair who gets dressed in the dark :rotfl:
Flying wise, dishes and S&S kitchen only (don't even know what the list is today!) with wonderful new pink flowery dishcloths! If you have to clean, do it with something pretty
Am off to catch up on this thread (all 200+ posts  ), big hugs to you all.:A FLY FIRST, KNIT LATER :A0 -
just got back in, so no flying so far. Saw Dr, picked up prescription, picked up dried lavender. Popped into friends (which is why I 've just got back:eek:. Have made own shake and vac (bicarb and lavender) and sprinkled liberally over lounge (will let you know how it turns out) and put pots to soak in sink. Now, must go and trawl round house and S&S as I go. Back soon.;)

I haven't done anything all weekend.
I received court papers regarding my rent arrears on Saturday so haven't felt like doing anything
I'll have to make phone calls on Monday as I don't actually know what to do next
This will be my second trip to the court so to me it don't look goodmy only hope is clearing the arrears before the court date
- maybe that would help.
Well I'm off to do something now . . .:D:D I feel like the luckiest person in the world.
I phoned the helpline number which was on the court papers and they were no help what so ever - it seems cos I have an income to high for legal aid I get no help. They just gave me the phone number for my local C.A.B
Anyway I went to pay some of the rent I owed and nipped into the court itself. I'm so glad I did. To cut the story short (knowing we're not allowed to chat) it seems that the letter meant I was bringing action against the housing association not the other way round but the letter wasn't even for me!!
Someone in Birmingham put the wrong digit on a form and someone elses letter came addressed to me.
So no court action against me and no court action by me!! Thank goodness:D:D
I also went to the housing association and had a long chat with the income recovery man. He was shocked to hear about the letter and assured me again it was nothing to do with them against me. He was also able to tell that my arrears are actually under half what the help line had told me!! :T
So I am so pleased!!:j
It did really scare me though and I'm now going to try my hardest to clear my arrears asap.
Anyway, on to cleaning. Shock must have been good for me as . . .
Magnificent Monday - Kitchen and dining room DONE!!!
Please, please Ms. Pigpen don't give us the living room tomorrow - I hate doing the living room!
