Pleae let us know when he has popped the question OP as I am sure he will at some point.

My guess is he knows you have been snooping and he's making you (rightfully) sweat.

If I was planning something like that, I'd want to know if you'd seen it, so I'd hide it very well but I'd also 'booby trap' it by noting excatly how things were arranged around it, so I would know you had been there if it were me!

My soon to be in 5 wks hubby whispered to me whilst away "I was going to buy you an engagement ring today" and then nothing else. I did not push the subject as it was day before we were coming home and then sulked on the plane home :rolleyes:

2 weeks later whilst out shopping he pointed out my now engagement ring, asked me if I liked it and when I said I did ordered it - ring arrived two weeks later but still no proposal

6 months later :eek: whilst on a diff hol in Paris he asked me the night before we left - wanted it to be a sort of suprise lol

He will get there but will prob feel like my h2b - thinks we all want the gushing oh my god what a shock proposal when we are secretly thinking "Just get on with it!!!!!" :rotfl:

OP, ask friends and family if they know anything about it. My OH told everyone we'd ever met that he was going to propose on valentine's day, so by the time he proposed I had no one to tell :rolleyes:.

I only proposed to my girlfriend 2 weeks ago - it was much harder to do than I ever expected.

The problem was that I had done lots or research on the internet about when would be a good moment to pop the question and what I found out was that a lot of women were disappointed with how they were proposed to.
This meant I was very worried as to whether the moment I picked was right.

In the end I just went for it and it all turned out well. It was quite stressful at the time though, I think you will just have to give him time.

Agree he probably thinks you have been snooping & found it so he is making you sweat. I had a similar thing with my ex, I hid a piece of jewellery in an easter egg as a surprise, then noticed the foil around the egg had been tampered with, so I removed the jewellery then waited, it took about a month for her to confess but it was fun LOL, good luck anyway

My OH bought my engagement ring in March last year and proposed in July. He told me afterwards that every time we went away for the weekend or went out for a meal, the ring came with him. He even brought it with him when he picked me up from my best friend's hen do. He was just trying to find the right time. Our anniversary passed, my birthday came and went... He eventually plucked up the courage when we arrived in Naples for our Summer holiday.
