If you didnt have a headache and had of put out he may have proposed0

Definitely don't say anything. You will ruin it for him, he doesn't want to be sprung, he wants it to be a 'surprise' for you.
Unless he has forgotten where he put the ring of course, and is pulling his hair out trying to find it!

Oh my I can really understand your frustration (did the ring fit by the way?
)
If it were me I would keep quiet (although I imagine this is easier said than done) but make sure he has plenty of oppotunity, e.g. suggest country walks with pretty view (excellent for proposals), maybe you could suggest that you go out for dinner somewhere suitably posh, that sort of thing try to give him some opportunity, poor guy is probably bricking it, but that is no excuse for not getting on with it

Oh I was so excited for you when I read the thread title - thought you gained a ring w/o having to commit to marriage!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I would be so paranoid I would have asked him straight out is it for me or is it for another skank?:mad:0

I think after 3 weeks of waiting, I would ask him about it / admit you had found the ring. I can understand why people are saying wait until he asks you, but heck you can't wait forever. And in the meantime it must be difficult for you, wondering why he hasn't proposed etc.
It still makes a great story for the grandchildren, even if you kind of pre-empt it a bit.0 -
One day you'll have to tell him you found it .... imagine the laugh you'll have (but you'll be old and well married by then)!
I agree with the above - don't say anything ... for at least another few days! And then maybe ask him if he's thought about marriage at all???0
