Mashed up boiled egg with some grated cheese and snipped chives mixed through is a favourite here.

Or egg with crispy bacon snipped through. I like tomato in mine too.

Or egg with some sausage sliced into it, with or without tomato.

Homemade "coldslaw": Shredded cabbage, carrot, onion, beetroot etc with a dressing of mustard, lemon juice and salad cream/mayo/greek yogurt(whichever you prefer!) you won't need much dressing, just enough to lightly coat everything as the flavour is strong. Leftovers absorb the flavour as they sit and just get better and better. Lots of veg!

Do you have a sandwich coaster? or any sort of squashing grill thing (i use a waffle iron) to make toasted sandwiches?

Avocados and tomatoes are cheap at the markets lately, add some value bacon and you have a delicious cheap sandwich.

    Heavenly breakfast butties:

My Favourite is Sausage & Orange Marmalade.

Good quality porky bangers, sliced lengthways, and a generous smearing of breakfast orange marmalade. Tastes wonderful.

Also try black pudding, sliced tomato and spring onion: Cook the black pud and then mash it up a bit so it can be spread (thickly) on the bread then lay on the sliced tomatoes, sliced onions, and a splash of balsamic. Works really well if the bread's toasted as well.

    Mmmmmmmm
