Have you had yours yet with this new price increase? Ours is a shocking price, used to be about £110/£120, now £180:mad: Makes me wonder if there is an error somewhere.

Same here, a massive price jump..............  :mad:What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0

We got one letter telling us our direct debit was changing from £72 to £96 per month and on the same day we received the actual bill which included a note that told us that prices were coming down :huh:0

Is the latest one priced at 16.88p? I think it has come down to 15. something since then, so presumably that will be the cost for the next bill. Glad I 'accidentally' read the meter wrong last time and over-reported by about 200 units.
That said my bill hasn't arrived yet...should be due any day though, they took the read last week.0 -

I nearly had heart failure - ours was up around 70 quid on last years0

mine was up £50 or more @16.88p. scandalous! and they have the monopoly here.We dont have any choice0

Ours was around £100 a month, 18 months ago.
Now its close to £300 a month !!.
We have a log fire with a back boiler and oil backup to heat the house and water and there is only 3 of us in the house..0 -

I know I should have overestimated by meter reading 3 months ago to take advantage of the lower rate. £90 a quarter is a lot to me when I have been used to payng £60.0

max5heads ... £300 a month seems very high .... what size of house do you have ?? Ours was £236 for the whole quarter and I complained at that .... used to be around the £150 mark.
Our house is quite large but we turn lights off etc when leaving the room and as i said there is only 3 of us here.
The bill for the quarter was £888?.0
