    No catch.

I use £2.50 a month just for occasional use. The only problem I have is that there is no way to check your remaining minutes automatically.

It uses o2 network so good coverage but o2 customers get priority if the network gets busy.

try *#10# you'll get an instant read out of your remaining balance

Can you point me to where this is stated or implied?

    Hi there,
After quite a descussion on a thread I started:
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=135067

I decided to change to tesco mobile and find it brill, saves me money and service is just as good if not better than O2 which I was with before.

Network is the same, but topups are easier and cheaper if done over the net and you get club points.

Just ask Tesco, they are quite open about the fact that they are a joint venture with o2 and some of the texts you receive about the service are clearly from o2.

Its such a major network that I doubt you would get any problems with regards to being busy apart from new years when most networks come to a stop anyway.

    Hope this helps

tesco sims are less that £2 to, I still prefer my 02 online with 300 free texts and 10% off calls "treats" and 150 free off peak mins for every £15 you top up.
