Cooked a lovely roast dinner, and lots of chicken left for casserole tomorrow, which I will put in slow cooker before going to work.
All ready for the morning bar the sandwiches - going to do them in a minute. Just put the throws off the sofa into the washing machine - they are dark brown so dont show the dirt - until you look closely   ( I looked closely!!)
Done my comps for the day as well. Am looking forward to a nice glass of wine on the (naked) sofa once girlies gone to bed! And Lost - what more could a girl ask for!!

Hi all,
Well, I don't think I've done anything DFW this weekend....:o Bought the girls a top each yesterday, DD2 a school skirt, top in Next sale for me, £52 in Morrisons....and forgot to borrow my sister's 10% discount card.
I'm feeling really rubbish with this pain now - right down bottom of my abdomen on the right, it hasn't gone and have had it almost 2 weeks now:( Doc is arranging a pelvic scan, but that might take 2 weeks. I've been panicking that I might have to go into hospital and there'll be no-one to look after my kids. Their dear father lives 1 1/2 hrs away and wouldn't take time off work to help - he says to ask his mum (who lives 10min away from me), but ex father-in-law is ill and in hospital himself, so can hardly ask her.
Arghh I'm waffling now - sorry, not hada good weekend, I just want this to get better, but it feels like it's getting worse, I wak around doubled over, not nice.
But...I did do my scratchcards and check the banking...that's all...so feel bad about that too, spending money arghhhhI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Awww Milly... (((((hugs))))) hope you feel better soon honey.
Have you ever had surgery in that area previously? Only asking as I had my appendix out aged 16, in the conventional fashion (not keyhole as everything is now) & was left with 4 inch scar down rhs. Cut to age 35/36, & uncomfortable pain, as you are describing - ended up having laparoscopy for them to have a look, and it was adhesions from the scar tissue - which they removed then everything was fine.
Another possibility - endometriosis (sp) ? Not had that myself, but I know from others that it can be excrutiating - but that should show up on a pelvic scan I think?
I hope it gets sorted quickly for you, if its not getting any better go back to the doctor & get him to chase the scan as urgent.
Good luck xxxxx0 -
Dizzydebs – Sorry to hear about your nightmare neighbours. I’ve been there – even worse I was pregnant back then and was already tired enough without the added noise from party animals! Enjoy your city break next week.
Andan – your website is brilliant and if I was anywhere near you I would have booked my DH for a deep tissue massage as he has really bad back pain. Lovely long list as usual!
Sophiesmum – Hope you managed a good shop in Boots!
Talliedebtbuster – The Vitality show sounds good. What freebies did you get?
Yesterday I managed to muster up the energy to paint parts of the fence where my DH had stripped the paint off when jetwashing his bike on a few occasions. Looks a lot better now but will need another coat.:A

4 trays of seeds done! My back is killing me now, was stooped over the redundant rabbit hutch, not a good idea! DD helped, DS3 wimped out as it was too cold! We have toms (tumbling tom, moneymaker, alicante), spring onions, cues, courgettes, surprise squash (butternut and poss. little gem, seem to recall mixing them up last year
). They are now in the living room sills as they get full hot sun all day and whatever starts off in there always goes mental :T
Fay, Im after little gem squash seeds, not had a lot of luck finding those, got a batch from a fellow isher a couple of years ago, I think I have planted some, so will see if anything sprouts
Sock-wise, Ive just realised that my slouchy winter socks are pink with bit spots on, so I DID have some socks that are mad and make me smile! :rotfl:I have them on now brrrrrrr.
Off to look at greenhousey-type things now....0 -
Pookie lou - I LOVE Lost!!!! Have been addicted right from the beginning! We have Virgin so have it on Sky 1 - it was torture last year when Virgin didnt have Sky 1 - had to improvise!! Have you discovered the Lostpedia site? Its like Wikipedia but solely for Lost - its amazing, I always go to it after each episode to read all the theories! Its really good for all the info on characters/storylines/links between people/places etc. Its fab!
I'll stop now - could go on about Lost for hours!

With you there Mogchops - and I am most definitely in it for Sawyer    I like going on the site The Fuselage after every eppy, the people who post on there are far quicker than me at spotting everything, and every now and then some of the actors pop in and reply to questions, especially Terry O'quinn.
Sorry, way off-topic.
This weekend I have been mostly DFW.
1) Scratch 10 p + 10p + 10p
2) £75 tracked in Quidco for my car insurance
3) Got tickets for a free preview of State of Play
4) Received 2 x cinema tix in post from choccy promotion
5) Had Mum round for dinner and made a spectacular meal (if I say so myself) from things that needed using up.
6) Went to a bday party at Adventure Wonderland yesterday and had a fab day for free.
7) Went to 2 car bootys today, and got some nice bits at the first one - including a spectacular old oak chest. It was £20 but the sort of thing you see in poncy shops for about £150. Honestly, I am so chuffed with it it's sad!
8) Didn't get anything at the second car boot, but there was a big fight in the car park after, so free entertainment I suppose!:p
I've realised that I've been a bit lax about posting this week, so I'm worried I'm getting complacent. So I will make an extra special effort this week, as this thread definitely helps keep me on track. Payday tomorrow, and I have lived within my means again :j ! Now I just need to up my income a bit more and get things paid off .....0 -
Cool, thanks! And yay for Fay!
Now if anyone has some gem squash seeds they want to donate my way.....:D
Yes Fay is a star:A Mention seeds to her and she has plenty and knows what to do with them:rotfl:My house is covered in all these seed trays, was going to plant some more tonight but just don't have anywhere to put them.
Thanks for all the positive feed back about my website, like i said, when you do something yourself your never sure what other people think of it so am glad it has gone down well. Some people must like it anyway as i have had lots of queries recently!
Have had a really good weekend and very productive, however foreign student didn't turn up due to visa probs so kind of waited in for nothing. However i am well and trully up to date with all my paper work.
Guys who are going to do the 101 challenge please let me know your blog, either through pm or the 101 thread so that i can follow you don't mind.
Hope everyone has a great start tomorrow for the start of the new week.
Milly, hope they get to the bottom of this soon. Sounds like a vicious circle, becuase if you are worrying about it then you are likely to be becoming more tense and stressed which will prob make you worse which can then fuel the worry. It must be concerning when you are a single parent and there is less support.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Uuh, oooh, I have been number crunching all afternoon and all evening. Got a friend to Monkey sit from half two to five and then just picked her up, fed, washed and put to bed and have been going strong ever since. I have spreadsheets up to date but I don't like my budget comparison sheet so need to change it. Managed to get my self employment accounts up to date as well so I am now ready to draft my letter to the council but I need to go and have a bath first. Tomorrow need to get my SOA under way and from that draft new budget. Two things I have learned from the hard work this evening: I spend too much money on food and I still can't keep tap on my cash spending as I have "lost" £65.- cash in two months. Upwards and onwards, catch up with you tomorrow.
