Good morning all! Nice and sunny here today and had a lie in!! :j
Dizzydebs - @ your neighbours, some people are just complete ***** with no consideration for others. Our neighbour is a fruitcake, not noisy but sits by the fence listening to us if we are in the garden, & sprays air freshener over the fence if DH has a cigarette! :rotfl: But fortunately not noisy.
Andan - Great website! And another long list for today - phew! Dont know how you do it - you must be so very focussed!
Busy day today. DDs stayed at mums last night as DH was working & I went out with some girlfriends to see a Take That Tribute band!! :rotfl: They were brilliant!! :T :T OK they didnt look like them, but the singing & dancing was fantastic! As I bought my ticket weeks ago it was almost like it was free - coz there was a super buffet & I only drank coke as I was driving! So really good evening.
But payback for my mum - I am cooking lunch for everyone today, (apart from poor DH who will be going to work just as it hits the table - aaahhhhh!!)
So.....today:
- Prepare and cook roast chicken & trimmings
- Iron & put away clean washing so dont have to look at it whilst eating lunch
- Plant more seeds
- Make packed lunches tonight ready for work/school tomorrow
- Tidy/hoover through lounge
- NSD!!! :T
- And - ITS LOST NIGHT TONIGHT - :happyhear SAWYER!!! mmmmm......
Have a great day everyone xxxx0 -
Hi all - not much for me today. Been out for the papers and will be spending the rest of the day pottering about at home and shoving some more junk up the loft and ironing!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

We have been robbed of an hour and I find that very very rude.
Andan - I know I had a nosey too - wow your site looks amazing! (Grass seed investigation ? Got it sorted?)
Waves to everyone else - morning thorugh bleary eyes - went to a work meeting (on a saturday night!!!??) I know pah - was interesting though, but finished at 10.30 then we went out for food and blether so not home til late.
Today
WOrk work work work
Feeling more inspired after last night - nicer to see the bigger picture of the work rather than be bogged down in the 'lexically dense' training etc I have been given - I will write in understandable english - if they want to tart it up - crack on my dear supervisor (OOOOH fighting talk here)
Washing to do and its 'sunny' at the mo so will see might even hang it out
DD has 2 pals here so its a bit noisy
Do some more seeds later as a treat after work not having convinced myself that its OK to do it before to get me in the mood
Meal plan some more - we have 2 weeks of April sussed just need to do the rest
Print off and deliver some info re SRC willow to the local tree lady who is visiting some people interested in Hoy on Monday (she asked me to go with her but sadly I can't)
Figure out what is happenning with DD's pals
Darwin for a spin later on - we took him out yesterday and he's so needing a run
Pick up OH from ferry if he gets here later (combine this with darwin run)

Busy day for you SM, have a nice time in the garden, hope the sun is shinning for you.
Mogchops, your neighbour made me laugh.:rotfl:We are lucky that we have a nice neighbour, but not sure who will be moving in next door.
Have got a long list today as OH is away so great chance to catch up on all my work, plus i will be going to visit my family at Easter for 6days where work is banned:eek: My family refuse to allow me to do any paper work when i am there as they know how bad i am when i am at home:rolleyes::rotfl:
Tallie, the Vitality show sounds great, glad you got lots of freebies too:D Have a good week and look forward to the progress update on friday.
Fay, grass seed investigation is me looking at where i can get some grass seeds from and where the cheapest place is. I am only going over my lawns as they are a bit spare in places, but have now narrowed it down to ebay where i can get 500g for £5 including postage and packaging, Don't think i need any more than that as like i said i am just going over bits of it. Again, i don't really want to pay much as its not my garden so am trying to do things on the cheap:D Was thinking about posting on freecycle to see if anyone had some spare ones but don't need them yet anyway as am in the process of the marrathon hedge cutting. However hedge cutting is still on hold until my tendons calm down:rolleyes:
Meetings on Saturday nights, thought they were banned!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Hi Tallie
Only on the introduction - I found alot of what she said to be predictable I guess - but not got very far yet - but so far have thought - OK we do that, Yeah we do that....etc...soldiering on - funny if I had bought it - it would probably sit on the shelf - but as its from the library I keep thinking right - need to read some more of that book
So maybe a DFW small things cookbook is in order .............SM as the editor in cheif- dont make me the proof reader as I cant spell!!
My DD and her two plas have found the perfect answer to poverty
Hobnobs for breakfast
Hobnobs in your packed lunch
Hobnobs for afternoon snack
Hobnobs instead of tea
Hobnobs for supper
With her quickie pizza inbetween (which was great) - its perfect sleepover fodderTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Well instead of scurrying off after the meeting I guess it meant a good excuse for a bit of food and a natter - as everyone is so busy its often snatched conversations - it was good as it was my old boss and I haven't spent much time with him since I announced my departure to my PhD - so it was nice to be there and contribute as one of his fledgling babies in my own capacity - hurrah I championed the cause for woodfuel in Orkney. (well a bit)
Grass seed - sounds OK for that price - freecycle I reckon would probably get you some if you have time to wait - what species you looking for? Hard wear stuff or just anything - speaks the girl who works in an agricultural dept..........will PM you.:DTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I think I need to go back to bed as I read this: Go to BBQ with old bags :rotfl:
Dizzy, that is so not on. Are your neighbours renting? If so perhaps complain to their LL?
Angel: LOOOOOVE the Eeyore smilie, he is my favourite
I am not lucky in love or in gambling, the favourite won last night and my numbers in lotto didn't come up. To quote Fay - Pah.
Just trying to continue with my list today. I think yesterday only managed half of the washing, shopping list and pet shop run so lots to accomplish today. Might text friends that offered to take monkey off my hands that I will take on their offer that should give me some uniterrupted time for some serious number crunching.
Sunny here - hoping it lasts...
Have a great Sunday everybody!!!
