    Hi All

    Cleosmum
my get up and go left me for a while but it is back now with extra oooomph!!
Fay your list rivals Andans today!

    So this weekend I will:
    • Scratchees and clicks
    • Surveys
    • Hokey cokeys at 30 and dry outside providing it doesnt keep blowing over again
    • 2x NSDs
    • Continue talking to seeds, cabbages have just started to sprout:j
    • Lots of cuddles for Pip as evil toothy pegs still bothering him a lot
    • Open Pips CTF, found one that gives £50 cashback on Quidco
    • Fill in WTC form so I can post it on Monday
    • Speak to rellies using free phone calls
    • If it stops drizzling I will go out into the garden and have a tidy up ready for when my seeds are big, bad and ugly enough to face the outside world!!
    • Mealplans (yep its still on the list!!)
    • Cancel dodgy lodgers Sky, dont see why I should pay £40 a month for his entertainment if he isnt going to pay me.
    • Cancel shopping trip with Best friend, simply cannot afford to even put myself in the way of temptation thanks to lack of funds from dodgy lodger (£300 he now owes me )
Ummmmm sure there is other stuff but that will do for now.

    Love to all x x x

Went to town, didn't get to use the no 7 voucher as it had expired:rolleyes: but the boots machine was giving me 50 point vouchers for roll on deodorants so printed a few off - means they only cost me 19p each:D
Spent £2.00 on veggies and that's about it really. Called in horsey place and picked up two sacks of feed for horse £23 but DD gave me the cash for that, and had free coffee at mc D's courtesy of friends loyalty cards again.

Wanted to get gardening this afternoon but it is now grey and raining and miserable:mad: will have to do something in greenhouse instead.

Good luck with the interview Urg ,
Fay - happy to share Darwin:D and his blankie is not far from completion;)

  • Hi All did a bit of town mooching too - waves up to SM - Hi x and whooop whooop to blankets xxx

Got my potatoes - woo hoo - well one kind anyway
    (now chitting in greenhouse)

Poked around in my chillis and they ARE starting to germinate (WHOOPS) so apologised to them and so left it at that

Got 1lb of local stewing steak for 50p in local all in one tradiitonal ironmongers/greengrocers/wholefoodstore/potato merchants - hurrah so its now stewed and ready to frreeze as two teas

Got a local chicken too(not cheap - but local) and some doggie bones for free

Also got a pair of crocs for £1, a Joules sweatshirt for £1.50 and a stripey fleece for a quid so feellike the charity shops have been good today

Also found 6 slugs and fed them to happy hens (3 eggs - 2 hens - not sure how that works)

Its snowy, sunny, snowy, rainy, sunny, snowy windy here - so in conservatory having a look about.

Wondering - how many tomato plants are equivilant to tins of tomatoes.........we thought maybe you could get 4-5 tins equivilants of tomatoes from a tomato plant?

(The logic is - our tinned tomato usage is about 3 tins a week. Therefore to grow enough tomatoes we need about 160 tomato tin equivilants a year - with me so far?)

So if we can get 4-5 tins of tomato equivilants from one tomato plant - we need grow about 35 tomato plants?

Any ideas anyone - off to look in a book

Don't mind me - I did the same today with the poor bloke selling me my potatoes..........I reckon we need 70-100 potato plants for our potato use - he did walk off shaking his head.

    Waves to you all x

    Afternoon,

Got first lot of washing out and after that it has been sun-rain-sun-rain so perhaps halt the washing after one more load to be able to hang inside.

I haven't done any MB for months and for this weekend I got too good offer from BF and I messed it up . If the favourite wins then I am 2.58 out of pocket and if the other team wins then I am £47.42 better off. I have played with the numbers and asked help on MB thread and if I put £31 more on the favourite then I could lock in £16 profit. I think I have been messing with this for long enough and leave it as it is. Gambling, I know but the most I can lose is that 2.58 - could have been lot worse. Lessons learned.

Talking about gambling, long time ago I woke up with two numbers in my head and added that to mine and DD's birthdays that gives me 6 numbers, might just try them on the Lotto tonight.

Anyhow, better go and get all the animal feed picked up, then I will feed DD and pop her in front of DVD and go and have bath. :D

    Catch up with you later,

    Marru

Bathgatebuyer - hope you get a good price on your car

Sorry not had a chance to get on for the past few days. Not sure where my time is going. So much to do then when I do sit down I'm shattered!

It's freezing outside  but will drag my lazy a*s out after I have put a washing on. I wish I could be more motivated like some of you guys but I can't seem to muster up much energy. Thankfully I've made myself list the few random items on Ebay which keeps me busyish so I'm not wasting too much precious time.

Anyway my dfw things for today:
    • Put money into DS account
    • Cut out a 20p coupon from my magazine and put into my purse
    • Got a couple of free Clarins samples for DH to try out before buying the full sized items
    • Found 21p
    • M&S – got 2 x 3 pk ladies socks reduced to £1.50 each, mens tie £3 from £15, Hannah Montana girls slipper socks £1 reduced from £4
    • Got more bids on my Ebay items.
    • Hannah Montana socks to go to DS's nursery classmates birthday present, also got another item for £2, will get a couple more items from my present stash and make a card nearer the time.
That’s all I can think of
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28

    Hi.
I haven't been very good lately, I'm afraid to say.
I looked on Ebay for one teeny weeny little thing, and the rest is history shall we say:confused: Anyway 300 pounds later  I am now a re-converted miser.

My pepper plant are now starting to grow after a good shouting session. Everything else is doing OK, but I have forgotten what they are so we should have some nice surprises .

Not bothering to do the washing today, hope for nicer weather tomorrow.
Must remember that I need to make up some more of the HM washing powder this week.
Also need to make up some "savoury rice" mix, will make enough for at least ten meals. And something for breakfast. Got a lot of different nuts and dried fruits, so some kind of muesili I suppose.

Must also tidy the house up today as I have three people coming on Monday for Tarot card readings first thing Monday morning.

Need to get back to having more NSDs but need milk today so that is out, hopefully send one of the boys, that way that is all that will be bought.

    Have a good weekend everyone.

Sans - I must have mis read earlier:o . Still got a bunch of the 250 point off no 7 skincare ones to use too from the little bags, might go and have a mooch tomorrow - have got a £20 gift card to use too from Mother's day.Need to see what I can do to maximise them.:D

Finally made a little headway in garden area - greenhouse totally cleared, blueberry bushes moved to greenhouse, 6 hanging baskets prepared for cherry tom planting, strawberries weeded and ready to go, all fruit bushes cleared and growing nicely, cleared out last years pots, put buckets over rhubarb crowns to encourage it a bit, chives, mint and parsley all growing well that I planted last year, lots of weeding, clearing and tidying all done. Tomorrows to do 's in garden, put up 12 hanging baskets/brackets, move two coldframes, screw together raised beds, clear some moss, move spud planters and repot my courgette seedlings which are growing like triffids.

Roll on the warmer weather so I can move some of the seed trays out of my office, lounge, bedroom, and kitchen:rotfl:

  • Still snowing here - sighs

DD making hobnobs with her pals - hurrah - they have finally taken ownership of making them

Kids also making 'Quickie Pizza' which I have to say for a school recipe is amazingly good

Well done on all the work in the garden sm x
