i think BMI is a load of cr*p. it says a weight lifter will be obese as it doesn't take into account building up muscle.
i'm not fat - just under tall!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well, I've had a bit of an evening...
First, went up to DD's room and found 2 letters she's written saying how much she hates me and is going to move to 'Saf Pol' with her friend Lottie and eat fish. I was quite impressed actually with her spelling and writing skills...
And a neighbour has just been round to tell me that DS ran in front of their car today and that he's done it before AND to other neighbours. Great! So, not only is my son a menace to the people on the street, he's also risking his life! It's also nice to know everyone is probably talking about what horrible parents we are....Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
After my dad died, my sister and I both had a load of blood tests. I felt that I wanted to know if it was hereditary, not just for me, but for my children. They revealed that we were "slightly higher risk than normal" of having what he had. BUT all this means in real terms is that we have to make sure that if we go in for any sort of surgery or look at having HRT or similar, that we make sure we tell them.....that way they can decide what is best to do.
I am glad we had the tests done - whilst you never know when your time is up, it does mean I don't have to worry unecessarily on a day to day basis, and can take the necessary precautions when I need to.
But at the time, the wait for the results was not much fun......and I may have been just a tinsy winsy bit more uptight and stressed than normal
Thanks for that Hyp. It's good to hear from someone who's had the results, and lived with themIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Bunny, I once left a note in my room when I was 7, saying I was going to move to Liverpool and become a stripper
When I went back to retrieve the note, some time later, it had gone, so my Mum MUST have found it.
Needless to say, she never said anything....mind you, I never asked
And I never did make it to Liverpool :rotfl:
As you say, look at the positives - if her spelling was good, then you are doing a good job! And at least she is intelligent to know that she will have to eat fish at the Saf Pol.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Never read childrens letters, they are never very pleasant reading......they were probably written right after you told her off for something and forgotten about now.And a neighbour has just been round to tell me that DS ran in front of their car today and that he's done it before AND to other neighbours. Got to love neighbours haven't you! Probably got nothing more exciting to talk about......Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
