Bun, I can remember writing loads of letters as a child, its her way of dealing with stuff and as sammy said it was probably right after you had told her off.

as for DS, that is a bit scary for his safety...sod the neighbours but he needs to know how dangerous is. Do you think some of the older children might have been playing chicken and he has copied them?

Thanks Hypno. I would be interested to know what my useful post vs smut ratio would be though :D

Probably a more useful ratio than mine...

Bunny, I once left a note in my room when I was 7, saying I was going to move to Liverpool and become a stripper :o When I went back to retrieve the note, some time later, it had gone, so my Mum MUST have found it.

Needless to say, she never said anything....mind you, I never asked

And I never did make it to Liverpool :rotfl:

As you say, look at the positives - if her spelling was good, then you are doing a good job! And at least she is intelligent to know that she will have to eat fish at the Saf Pol.

Ahh but did you become a stripper ;):D

Bunny, you're not horrible parents. I know my kids have times when they hate me, I'm here to be a parent, not win popularity contests. Sometimes you have to make decisions that wont make you popular with your kids.

As for DS, maybe he needs a few green cross code lessons, but good on you for letting him play out. Unfortunately getting quite rare these days.

No Sal, he's just a little sod. Never pays attention I guess.

Thing is, everyone on the street knows us, and the kids so we are a bit lazy about watching them...don't know what to do now? Quite clearly, he can't be left out there without supervision but we can be outside all the time! Argh!

  • i think BMI is a load of cr*p. it says a weight lifter will be obese as it doesn't take into account building up muscle.

i'm not fat - just under tall!!! :D :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I agree too, I am now morbidly obese... do I care :j

No, just going for blood tests tomorrow. I'll ask when the results will be back, and make an appointment for the other tests sometime after that. Will be about a week I think. Dont need to be a brain surgeon to know what they'll say....lose weight

    "Lose weight" is medical Tourettes...

They all say it, and almost before you sit down. "Drink less" and "exercise more" are other ones.

They can't help themselves, so you shouldn't judge them...

Also the figures they take from are now ancient.

Virtually every rugby player is morbidly obese...
