I am so sad aren't I....Happy not to be motoring up and down the motorway for once!!!
I have OH home all weekend, and if I can get him to put his laptop down for five mins and stop working I am hoping to spend a nice weekend at home doing nothing together.....(I like that - he will want to go out somewhere I am sure!)
Bunny I just caught your post this morning from last night I must have cross posted......give your kids a big hug this morning...hope your friends son is going to be okay..
My DD2 is out in a tent somewhere and it is so cold and wind.y - I hope she is okay:eek:
I *may* go for a run at 8 but it is a bit windy.......

I too have just been catching up on last night shananigans. Bun I hope that your friends little boy is ok, I did exactly as your said when I got home last night, a nice cuddle and kiss for DD. I had a wild night out at the school bingo :rotfl: and I won an easter egg and some tickets to a local house/garden in the raffle :j must have been my lucky night!
Sammy I think you should go, wind or no wind. I went for my long run yesterday and set off not realising the wind at all, running along happily at (what I thought) a nice EASY pace. When I got to mile 9 to turn around to come home I had run it just over 10min/miles  way way too fast for a 20 mile easy run. Then I turned around and had the wind in my face blowing a gale...think I had wind power yesterday!
Right I'll stop waffling now, work for me today again then going to come home and relaxHope DH is in a better mood today, he barely spoke 2 words to me all day yesterday
Have a good day everyoneI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Can sometimes be a bonus in this house Sall!
Hope you didn't get wind burn on your face..........

When I spoke to her last night they were just sitting with him. He is terminally ill, has been since birth and they have never known how long he would live for so they treat each day as a gift. He has pulled thru before but they dont know each time. He's ended up with MRSA and pneumonia etc.
Even more tragic with it all is they told them that it was a 1 in a million chance having Oliver as he was so they had another child....and Faith is exactly the same-on borrowed time and terminally ill-they have several genetic disorders. Caz and Dean remain strong and carry on, it amazes me.
Anyway, I may try a run again today after my disaster yesterday...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
I wont be leaving the house at all today if I can help it, torrential rain and gale force winds here............the carpet in the living room is bellowing up with the force of the wind outside:eek:
After Bunny and Weller's posts last night I have alot to be grateful for
.........Oh Hi Bun, didnt see you there. But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
My words of wisdom for today...
For attractive lips, speak words of kindness. For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people. For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry. For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day. For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone. People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone. Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.

No not going for a run cos while I was quite happily thinking okay will go for run I suddenly realised I have a child with no one to look after her and OH in bed...he has been working 24/7 and deserves a lie in.
I am also still working on a hard set of accounts and have finally managed to get into them. Its only taken me 9 months and the deadline for filing is monday!:eek:Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
