my leader said if i had a muller light after my tea it would be free but if i had it an hour afterwards it wouldnt be because you are only allowed 3 meals of free food but can snack on fruit/veg and fruities all day has she told me right because i think she is new herself although she has lost a lot herself on ww but new as a leader
one week we had the area manager there as well and i asked her a question on soups and she told me what i was thinking myself
basically ive got the shopping book and eating out etc and it says on the switch book nc can have soups but not creamy i asked my leader she said the ones that are cream of mushroom etc so i said well why is it in the shopping book it says they are free and she said you have to count them but i asked the area manager and she said they are free only the ones made with real cream are not so thats why im checking

Can I remind you all again that there is a great help and support thread for those wanting to lose weight on the I Wanna board here, and I'll link it below again.

The original request was for recipes... so... does anybody have any recipes?

    Hi All,

Well, I took the plunge and joined weight watchers last night. My weight is... well, let's just say I would do a baby elephant proud!

What I want to know is the best way to money save old style and follow the weight watchers diet. Is anyone on here following it or something similar? I've had a read of the programme material and it seems to centre round a lot of fruit and veg etc. If anyone has any low fat recepies they could recommend etc that would be gratefully received as well.

    Thanks,
    Flis

Having done both weight watchers and Slimming world *sigh* then I would say you'll probably find Slimming World easier to work with whilst being money saving old style :)

I don't go to either at the moment as £5 a week is just stupid... but I am still loosing weight with slimming world plan :)

On slimming world I find a very nice free (as in no slimming world syns) meal is a chicken and bacon salad :) add as much salad as you like, sweetcorn, cucumber, tomatoes and so on. Add a grilled skinless breast of chicken and some grilled bacon with the fat removed. What will add syns but tastes lovely is to add some cheese (I like mozzerella or cathedral city cut up in to small cubes and sprinkled) and some thousand island salad dressing :) You can take your cheese from your daily allowance of healthy extras so you're only adding syns from your dressing :)

The very best place for advice on diets, recipes and all sorts of related topics is a long running thread on the I Wanna board which is also full of great support:-

    I Wanna Lose Weight 5

Other than that we have all sorts of recipes in the Cooking section of the MEGA Index sticky at the top of Old Style listed under "Healthy Eating"
