I'm playing my way through the free £20 on Mirror Bingo at the moment, thanks for the tip Kimmy. Already cashed in £30 yesterday on Cheeky Bingo but wouldnt recommend using that site as the minimum withdrawal is £30 which can take a while to build up.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Alice Megan - thanks hun, I received my Liz Earle stuff the other day too yay! Really chuffed, it looks lovely!
Sweetpeas - crikey, sounds like a bit of a drama and quite scary - glad your DS seems to be better now hun x
Haven’t been on for a few days so a few little bits to add! Posted 2 Ebay tops - made my money back plus £3.43 profitOH got a voucher from work for £5 worth of DVDs - he was on the receiving end of a mystery shop and got 100%. Wouldn’t usually add his money, but we’re putting it towards a DVD we both want which I was going to buy, so will include! £6.45 tips at work, which was unexpected and very nice. And stayed an extra 15 mins at work until boss got back, so £1.43 extra wages. Oh and Yougov 50p!
Also waiting on some cashback to arrive in my account inc. £50 from Alliance and Leicester, so will add that when it’s in my account, should be a nice little boost! Waiting on Cashinco too, but have heard they're having problems paying out this month...hope they're not going under or anything? And expecting a couple of MS payments too, if they ever move from pending to confirmed - hurry up!Reserved my wedding reception venue today - a beautiful manor house - so now my efforts need to be increased to pay for it. Its the only expensive thing we will be having being a dedicated MSEr but I have fallen in love with the venue and my ancestors worked there as maids and gardners in the 1700s and 1800s so it means a lot to me. My in-laws have offered us a good chunk of the money to pay for it too so I am a very lucky girl
Horace - I would love to know if you have any tips on planning a good budget wedding. Any help greatly appreciated
Oooh how exciting, yay for you Jesa! Sounds like it will be a beautiful place to get married, and even better if it means something to you/your familyI'm getting married next year, so would also be v.interested in budget wedding tips! We are really splashing out on our venue too and also photographer (an eye-watering amount actually, makes me feel a bit sick when I think about it!) - BUT everything else will be very MSE, e.g. father in law is driving us in his own classic car so we don't have to hire one, making our own favours, friend making the cake, bridesmaid dresses from Ebay etc!

Hi everyone :hello:
Jesa, you sound very excited! The manor house sounds lovely, just like something out of a fairytale.
I would like to swap in laws as wel if you don't mind, cos for our wedding, my in laws got us a crappy toaster :rotfl:
I have checked our wage slips and DH has got his overtime, £56 after tax so I will add £50 to my sig as that is what I will draw out for my stash
I have sold some more stuff on ebay, so I will add that to my sig when the rest of the people pay

Not gonna add it to sig, but I have just shopped around for house insurance and got it down from £320 to £130!!!
Will add the £30 cashback from Quidco when I get that though. I'm so pleased!Married 19th May 2011 to the love of my lifeCross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44CSC Challenge - to complete LEGS by end of December
