Ive personally dealt with hundreds of people whove used AVG and HAVE had problems (myself included)

I have to ask though. As its so bad with its defintion updates, how would you KNOW if your computers infected?

tried combofix but it still doesn't want to work.

am I afe to delete the various files that w32 has left dotted around the place? and can i do anythng about the ones it wont let me delete?

it's created duplicates of some files, such as $Recyce.bin that it will let me delete. but then there's random shortcuts to things it has created such as documents and settings, which it will not let me open (and hence i'm scared to delete)
