Thanks op. When should i cancel the DD. Is it best to do it just after the £1 has been taken?? Sorry, but i'm still a bit new to all this ducking and diving!!

I always cancel my DD after the 1st payment has been taken, i sometimes forget tho if i've taken out a few at the same time :wall:

    Morning everyone

Can anyone tell me, when i have filled in the direct debit form and proceed to the next page ( the one to print out to send to your bank) Is that it?

There doesnt seem to be any more buttons to press to say that it has been accepted it just leaves me on the direct debit page to print. Is this correct?

    Thanks for the great link

at the top of the page it sometimes says to read and if the info is correct click submit once, then you get a new page saying success, not sure if it with all subs, but that seems to be the norm. Have you checked your email to see if you've received confirmation of your subscription ?

Barrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgain. Very happy customer here - thanks for that suggestion. And for the tip re the direct debit or just paying the £10. Very pleased indeed, thank you!

PS - As for the cheap haircuts I think you only really get what you pay for!

Cheers for this, just ordered for the wife.

Just in case any other people have online form unfriendly names like me .... O'Rourke

The ODBC (the way it has been coded) driver Elle use for their subscriptions does not like the ' (apostrophe), this generates a syntax error in the code, best just to leave it out.

IE did not highlight this for me, just got HTTP errors, Firefox did tell me it was a syntax error which reminded me I about badly coded online forms and my surname
