If anyone has olive/tanned skin then I have to recommend the Olive Medium foundation that EM do.
Its the best colour I have ever used, so natural and flattering and it brightens up my quite dull complexion.
Also the $4 puffer bottle mentioned earlier in this thread is brilliant for quick, even touch-ups and I keep this in my handbag.0 -
i love this make up, used all my samples just went back and ordered some more as well as a brush and mixing pot, i mixed one glow base with two semi matte samples to make the right shade and it lasted 6 weeks of everyday use. Including the brush, pot, 3x bases,1 concealer, and a bronzer samples came to £8.62 after dollar currency conversion! bargain!!0

not sure if these guys have clued on but when mine arrived the sample size is tiny, same as a sample from Sephora (those tiny wee pots) and they are a real pain to get the powder out. Shame not such a good deal anymore, was really excited to think that it would be a decent size sample!0

They are quite small pots, but they last for *ages* even if you need quite a bit (like me due to totally pants skin and acne) as the coverage is really good. Generally it seems that one pot will last about a month to 6 weeks. To get the powder out, either puncture the clear film with something (a fork, corkscrew, pointy thing) or you can peel it off with a pair of tweezers or similar. And as the actual items (plural - not just one pot, but 5 in total, of your choice of a huge range) are free, as in, you are not paying for them, the company are loosing money by sending them to you, I don't really think it's a complaining situation.
Some people really are just so ungrateful.:mad:Do not feed the trolls please.0 -
The pots are small but they last forever!
And unlike other mmu companies, they send them as pots, not those awful ziplock bags that are a mess to use. So I agree, they must be making a loss by sending those sample kits all the way from America.
After a couple of attempts, I finally found a colour of foundation I felt happy with and ordered a SCK. Very cheap, even after customs and p&p, so I'm very pleased with Everyday minerals.0 -

See Map and Pixie's retorts, you ungrateful girl, you!
Tip-tap a little into a pot that you can swirl your brush in, or even use a clean, dry jar lid - the possiblities are endless. Nutella jars have nice deep sides, prise the carboard lining out with summat sharp... I haven't tried that one yet, only just thought of it. As stated many times, I have always used mini Christmas pudding tubs but I've just discovered Dole individual fruit portions.and they are a real pain to get the powder out.
MMU can become an obsessive pastime, one loves pottering with one's pots
