I've had endless problems getting my order through . . . it rejected the first one completely and I had to start all over again. I thought it was an Mac compatibility issue but I am not so sure . . .mmmm, still seeking something witty to be my auto-signature . . . so this will have to suffice for now0

The Post Office charge a fee on top of the customs and import fees to cover their "handling" (them declaring and signing for the parcel at customs, handling etc.) and I think it's about £9ish (?). The FAQs mentions a website where you can declare it yourself to avoid this cost. Apparently it takes longer for the goods to arrive but for any serious money savers out there who aren't in a rush for the products it might be worth it.
Was hoping to get round the import charges by getting it sent as a "gift" from a US-friend, but they still charge you on gifts grrr....
I've ordered plenty of things from the US before and never been charged anything. Have I just been lucky ?mmmm, still seeking something witty to be my auto-signature . . . so this will have to suffice for now0 -
Can anyone please help. I have tried to order the sample set but am having problems. Firstly when I went to site I was confused as to where to choose Blush & face colours and concealers from! Is this cheeks and conceal? Sounds daft I know. The I choose 3 bases as per prvious post and one from cheeks and conceal but it said $12.50 in my cart at checkout. How do you get it to apply discount? A message is coming up telling me sample ste incomplete. Any hints would be gratefully received.0

If you go to the first page of this discussion a member has given a really good explanation of how to add the sample kit (it's about half way down the page, by Pixiepie) - this is it copied and pasted:
This flumoxed me to start with as well - choose the trial/sample kit and it goes into the box on the right hand side of the screen. Then click on 'Make up', and then 'bases' on the top bar and you get all the different shades in groups (read the different formulas in the box at the top left before clicking on anything so you can choose the right formula once you've picked a colour - I couldn't work out what the differences between them were before I navigated round the whole site and came back again to that page to see them listed in the box!). You can click on the colour to bring up a bigger picture of it if you want, or just left click and drag the little pot of colour over to the box on the right hand side where it says 'sample kit' (if you look at the big one, you just left click on the little pot and drag it), and it will prompt you to choose the formula you want. You then do this for another two shades of base, then go to cheeks, and pick one the same way, then go to conceal and pick one the same way.
Hope that helps0 -
This is a fab deal, I love mineral make up but it is pretty pricey. The feedback on here has been pretty positive, so I reckon I'll be buying from them in future and quite probably recommending to friends and family.0

I thought custom charge applied to anything that cost £36 or more coz I ordered a pair of jeans (ca.$100) from US last year I paid £16 for a bloody charge but other times didn't pay at all so it depends on what is declared on custom label I think. Anyway ordered the samples I hope it's nice I never used MMU b4 too
