Thanks to all those who not only wasted Mr Fothergill's time as I said that they would be doing but also wasting my time now that I have to re-order despite NOT abusing the code!

:rotfl:you wasted enough of your own time complaining in the first place.
they sorted it themselves so you really didn't need to go on and on and on. you can't control people so there's really no point trying.
the problem was their own fault - if they have an issue with the site they need to be prepared to take full responsibility.

it's quite sweet how someone can be so passionate about a few 'runners' though. :o

What I do with my time is entirely up to me.

The problem may have been with their site however, the T&C allow them to cancel orders. So, they don't need to take any responsibility. It's the customers (the ones that made a legitimate purchase) who end up losing out.

I think you've missed my point. I don't like greedy people spoiling things for others. At least 2 posters have comments on these runners being for their children - do you have children??

It's rather childish to see a loophole in a system and then abuse it for the sake of it.

gah! I paid £3.49 as I didn't think it was fair to abuse the system and didn't get another email to re-order, will they honor the first order?

    :(

hi misskool! You won't be able to re-order as they have been removed from the site (click the link on the first post and they're not there). Also, I've got some in my basket and they now state:

"Strawberry Elvira - 10 FREE Plants Offer - SOLD OUT."

Hopefully your original order will arrive.

it is, but why complain that people have wasted your time when you already generously waste your own time? you must simply enjoy complaining :j

it is also people's choice whether they pay full price or not, which is the point other people have made that you don't seem to understand.

as for children, no i don't have any but if i did i'm sure there would be plenty of other things to do with them if a few 'runners' didn't turn up.. i wouldn't be completely suicidal over it.

I'm not even going to bother. My point has clearly gone right over your head and you are taking everything too literally! :rotfl:

I called them yesterday to find out where my £3.49 strawberries are. Customer Service girl recommended to have a look at my account to check if they have taken any money out. It turns out they haven't got my order in the system at all, though I received confirmation letter, they haven't taken any money out and the strawberries now are sold! So I wrote to them saying what I think about them and their disgraceful service. I don't care if anyone abused the offer- I didn't, so where is my order? Quite upsetting.
I love this forum and thank everybody who contributes to it!

SOunds like a bit of farce. I think it could of been handled better if it done more fast or they founda way of removing all ordered under 3.49 limit for that product and remove them.
