oh come on..£3.49 is a decent price and a genuine offer through Gardener's World. Why take the p1ss and exploit this glitch? I'd be very surprised if they don't cancel your orders and they'll be well within their rights.
You take advantage of the glitch because you can! As for them cancelling the order i think you're probably right otherwise they'll lose money because of their generosity. But don't blame the consumer for trying it on!
  • I just ordered mine I got it at -34p too, at worst they won't send me the plants at best I get them free, but if they charge me the £3.49 postage its still good , seeds are over £3 for 15 and no guarantee that they will grow so its not a bad offer whatever they charge me :j

An old lady drops a £10 note in front of you ...you pick it up and keep it because you can...

I really wonder about the mentality of some people who seem to think that it's clever to act like this. This type of behaviour is going to cause Mr Fothergills extra work to cancel the orders of those who are "trying it on" and then send out email explaining the situation (plus replying to those that think that they are being treated unfairly). They are hardly going to be keen to run such promotions again. Who loses? The consumer.

Add something else to your basket up to that value
I did think about that, but i'm happy if they charge me the £3.49 (i.e remove the discount) and wasn't prepared to pay for anything else i didn't need!

    Actually, it's a few runners.

And I'll chill out if you grow up and stop wasting the time of the staff at Fothergill's. I'm not exactly sure who you are trying to impress with your 6p strawberries!! :rotfl:

This happened with me too, i then realised you have to add additional items from the Gardener's World section only, and then add the discount code, and then remove all extra items. I had been adding stuff from the website in general!
