    Morning all,
Nice and sunny here perfect drying weather, just as well as I picked up a load or 3 from DD2 when I took their dinners over lastnight.
Hopefully the new roof will be finished at DD's, I'll get DH to check it out before we pay the enormous bill.
Still raking out the joints in the out building, it's gonna take months.
BM on and 1st line nearly dry. Off to make the plate pie for dinner.

    SMOKY, YOU OK?
CANDYGIRL, Can't remember DD's due date. Hope her pain has eased.

Morning Chums ,sun is out again but it still feels a bit chilly.Ladymay I hope you get to your Dr.s and get it sorted it may be nothing to worry about but until you find out keep nagging at the Dr.s .They are usually very good when it comes to lumps and bumps .My eldest DD had a couple of cysts that she got sorted by her Dr.
I have been making some Easter cards and am going to finish them off today with some yellow ribbon. They are for the family that I won't get to see over Easter and some old friends who just like it when I drop them a little card to ask how they are. With email it's easy to forget that not everyone has a computer so I always make a point of writing a card or a letter to those that aren't 'netted up'.Several of my friends of my age range think I'm quite a 'modern young thing' and insist that they couldn't possibly use a 'puter' I do try to tel them its not that hard and if they only would have a go they might enjoy it.But some folk just refuse to be persuaded. One of my sis-in-laws won't have a mobile either as she thinks its a waste of money.her DD bought her one and put £20.00 on it for her but she wouldn't use it and eventually the credit was expired .I didn't know that Virgin did that with pay-as-you-go phones that if you didn't use them you would lose your credit.
I still have my late husbands phone no. although I have a newer phone with it now. I don't use it a lot, but it is handy if I'm out and need to phone the kids for anything.it's not a fancy one just does what its supposed to which is make a call or text and thats enough for me.
Well today I shall have a pottering day I think, a bit more de-cluttering is on the agenda.Slowly working my way through the clutter of my spare room.
Hope everyone has a good day it's midweek so halfway towards the week-end .Soon be April, how the time flies by.
<hugs> to those in need and sad and a big :) to the rest of you

Well the tree people are here with their flourescent clothing and big chain saws. I can't see what they are doing as my garden is to the side of my property with no windows but will go out at lunch time when my OH comes home.

PippaS - I managed about 30 mins out there - weeded two pots out of the 40+ I have dotted around my huge garden/patio. My poor OH had to move them all so they were out of the way of the tree surgeons.
Betheebee - I think most of us will remember Mork and Mindy, it is a classic.
Ladymay - hugs honey - like everyone says, it is more likely to be a cyst than anything else at your age and nic1 is right, the longest you will have to wait to see someone at the hospital should be two weeks. I know it will be a scary two weeks but hold on in there and if you need anyone, we are all here for you.
EssexG - hope your antibiotics start working soon.
Penpin - how are you today?
Moggins and Mudgekin and Squiggles - Hope you are all doing well.

Last nights dinner was fish and chips. My OH was just too tired to cook so instead of the spanish omlette I had planned we cheated. Cat was happy, she loves cod and I always save her some! So tonight I am hoping to have the spanish omlette though I have a tub of feta cheese to use up so I better start researching recipes to use it in rather than waste it. It was out of date on Monday!

Well the nurse was here at 0815 promptly and failed to take any blood from me. I told her that at the hospital they use the back of my hand but just like the last district nurse she thought she knew better so I have two punctures in each of my arms and then when she finally tried the back of my hand I think my veins had gone into hiding cos she couldn't get any out from there either! So they are sending the plebotomist up from the surgery in the next day or two.

Warm gentle hugs hugs.gif to everyone who needs or wants one - do something nice for yourself today.

To be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.

You share an affliction with my OH, as a Scot he is very lothe to give anything and blood comes under this heading too.....they ususally have to use a butterfly and leave it in........its too much of a hassle otherwise.......there is one nurse at the surgery who can usually get blood, but always seems to leave a massive bruise!!!!!!!

    Good morning all!

BM and wm on, hoovering done last night by ds, but need a quick whizz around again later, kitchen S&S and sitting room junk gathered and chucked out - where does all that rubbish appear from?!

Trying to keep busy as have been summoned to see my consultant this afternoon, had a couple of lots of blood tests done, she wasn't happy with the results of the first lot, and wants to discuss the second. I'm in a right old panic! Funniest bit about yesterday was the poor nurse took my blood pressure 3 times cos she thought her machine was playing up, nope, I just have even lower blood pressure than usual - can't imagine how much lower it'd be if I didn't feel so stressed, it'd probably have stopped flowing all together!

Going to relax - well try to - and have a proper catch up, hugs to all who need them xx

Mummysaver - hope all is well, thinking of you. It is always fun when a student tries to find blood pressure when it is like that - but they don't listen when you tell them that something is 'normal for you'.

MSD - why is it that medicos never believe what you say? I have lost count of the times I have told doctors something which they later admit was, by coincidence  right. Evil cat also had fish yesterday - I rolled back in the typing chair and took off a huge chunk of fur so she had some tuna that wasn't on the diet sheet :o

Notice a common theme on the two paragraphs above.

Well, little bear is playing upstairs after being dosed with Calpol - I expect he shall be napping soon. I am here dosed with nurofen. So OS is not happening. I have just had to throw out a vast amount of veggies and I am really cross with myself.

    Hugs to all.

    Morning Everyone

Its wet windy and cold here at the moment and unbelievably I'm still in my pj's.OH took the kids to school this morning so I took the opportunity to tidy the bedrooms and clean the bathrooms. Also spent an hour on the wii fit so off for a shower in a moment to clean my sweaty bod

Kids had poached eggs for brekkie and I had poached egg and sausages.I'm back on the low carbing now as I need to lose another stone before my MD's first Communion in June. Her dress arrived yesterday and it is beautiful, whats more important she looked beautiful in it too.It was a real proud mummy moment.I can see there being tears on the actual day so must remember to take tissues.

I'm off to book our first camping pitch of the season in a minute. We are going for 4 nights to Haven Lakeland at the beginning of June.We went to this camp last year and the kids loved it so we are doing it again. It'll cost me £40 for 4 nights with electric so nothing too drastic on the financial front. But must get cracking on putting a few quid to one side for spends though as Haven is quite expensive for drinks etc

On a domestic front I've got a couple of loads of washing and some bread to make.I've got a big joint of beef in the oven at the moment for slicing for sandwiches later. It works out cheaper for us to buy joints and slice them up rather than buying precooked meat.

Hubby is making tea tonight which will be a nice change and as he can only cook two meals it will be garlicky chicken which is great cos we love it.I'm making a couple of Manchester Tarts for pud

MSD-Know where you are coming from with the blood tests cos I always end up either with horrendous bruises or arms like a pincushion

    Ladymay-Good Luck today

    Essexgirl-Hope you are feeling better
