I'll be honest I have never watched the Galloway speech in Washington, now let me state, I don't much agree with Galloway's politics, but this has to be one of the best speeches of put down I have ever heard, an oratory masterclass.

I despise Galloway. I lived in Wapping when he was my MP and when they came around canvassing (for the local elections IIRC) I told his minions that if they carried on with our building I'd chuck the lightest one off the balcony. (Probably not my finest moment).

he's a complete piece - the funny thing was that the US think that he was some complete fruitcake as they'd never heard of him. he's a nobody.

he's an entertainer not a politician - just look at his website, books and radio shows.
it's all publicity for him just like he used big brother

  • In 1999, Galloway was criticised for spending Christmas in Iraq with Tariq Aziz, then Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister. In the 17 May 2005, hearing of the United States Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, Galloway stated that he had had many meetings with Aziz, and characterised their relationship as friendly.[57] After the fall of Saddam, he continued to praise Aziz, calling him "an eminent diplomatic and intellectual person"
Aziz went on trial over the deaths of a group of 42 merchants who were summarily executed in 1992. The merchants were charged by the regime with manipulating food prices when Iraq was under international sanctions.[16] On 11 March 2009 Aziz was found guilty of crimes against humanity and sentenced to 15 years in prison

to be fair the same can be said about Nelson Mandela - he had some 'interesting' times when he was younger

but people seem to idolise him now...

Not a fan of Galloway but many people have been taken in by people who are not quite what they seem

I would hardly call that wiping the floor - something like George Galloway in America - now that was wiping the floor

No that was Galloway being an insulting embarassment to our country. The man is terrorist loving idiot.

Clearly. When he stood up in the 80s denouncing the Iraqi regimes as the US and UK shipped him arms, he demonstrated to the world that he loves the Iraqi regime......

Do you know anything about Galloway, or did you just type abuse blindly?
